is MFLightning LDrago a better attack type combo than storm pegasis 100RF and if it is would it effect the recoil level a lot if i used L'Ldrago without a metal face??

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Daegor42 - Jul. 12, 2010

MF Lightning LDrago is better than Storm Pegasis 100RF, and yes, removing the MF would affect the recoil a lot. Negatively.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Ozzy - Jul. 12, 2010

I'm still trying to figure out why MF Pegasus CH120RF is not up here. Even with MF, it works amazingly well and tears apart top-tier stamina and defense combos. I feel that it is just as if not significantly better than MF Lightning L-Drago CH120RF.

Still waiting for reliable results from more than one person ...

does anyone thinks rock giraffe is good uncustomized or does it need modification?

It definitely needs to be customized.
Rock has too much recoil to be a good Defense wheel. Earth is a better choice since it is heavy and has minimal recoil.

Also, the Giraffe clear wheel only weighs approximately 2.8g, a heavier Clear wheel (such as the Bull Clear Wheel) will be a better choice.

The extra weight from Metal Faces are also important for Defense types since a heavy Bey will be more difficult to Knock Out from the Stadium.

ok thanks. also does rock giraffe have good stamina? im planning on getting one and im curious to know if its worth getting

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - RエスコルピオT125JB - Jul. 13, 2010

It doesn't have good stamina, but it's worth getting for R145 and WB.

Rock Giraffe doesn't have really good Stamina (but better than Attack types, of course).

Defense types aren't really supposed to have great Stamina since good Defensive bottoms (such as WB) uses friction to help grip onto the stadium.
WD provides less effective Defense, but offers a lot more Stamina.

Rock Giraffe is worth getting since it comes with WB (a top-tier Defense bottom).
Rock Leone comes with WB too, but Rock Giraffe has the R145 track (which seems to perform pretty well from what I've seen) while Rock Leone comes with the 145 track.

It really depends on how much money you want to spend. Rock Leone is cheaper while Rock Giraffe (which is more expensive) offers more variety of parts.

Also, these kinds of questions should be asked in the Purchase Consultation thread next time.Wink

EDIT: beaten.

Okay, the recent MFB came in the mail, and I got one at Wal-Mart. Does this combo sound good?

- US Storm Pegasis 105RF

- JP Capricorne M1450

Note: I know that the JP Blades and US Launchers are compatible. I tried it too.

Hm, you should use the "Build me a combo!" topic. Moreover, you are just suggesting uncustomized Beyblades, and I think we all experienced how both of those are not good uncustomized.

Also, you probably meant "Capricorne M145Q".

Well, as well, hah. To me, "Capricorne M145Q" immediately implies Storm, but I suppose it should be mentioned, yes.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Mc Frown - Jul. 19, 2010

With all the attack combos people are figuring out it seems like Storm Pegasis 100RF is pretty outclassed.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Pimpju - Jul. 19, 2010

I thought that was considered "top tier" now. A still viable combo for those with not too many beys, IMO.

EDIT: Just saw it on the first page.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Mc Frown - Jul. 19, 2010

It's still quite good, but not comparitively.
At least in my opinion.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Pimpju - Jul. 19, 2010

that's true. Especiallly as, with the exception of quetz 90RF, all the other attack combos are more controllable.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Hiro Ayami - Jul. 20, 2010

Storm 100RF is much more controllable than many of the current Top Tier Attack Types. Further apart from Quetz 90RF it has seen the most testing and is more readily available than most on that list. For North American MFB's it's the only real viable option until Lightning L Drago is made more available in NA.

I'm fairly certain it will continue to maintain it's staple position especially since it appeared on that list when MF Libra C145WB dominated the format and it still managed a 46-50% win rate.

I also think you got that backwards, Storm 100RF and Quetz 90RF were the most controllable. Lightning L Drago has a much higher self KO likelihood than either of the two.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Cpt. Squirrel - Jul. 20, 2010

I can't control Quetz 90RF at all. Every time I launch, it just scrapes the foor.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Hiro Ayami - Jul. 21, 2010

TBH I don't think it's Quetz 90RF then, it's your Sliding Shoot technique. I went from Storm 90RF to Storm 100RF to Quetz 90RF and never experienced that issue. I never had to really adjust my sliding shoot either.
