According to DrigerGT's videos, Thermal should be added to the competitive stamina combo

It is a nice stamina combo but might not be good for battles. An attack type could easily hit it out of the stadium, unlike Earth.

At least, I did some tests, it is better than Flame.

Like Flame...but Flame is a top-tier Stamina Wheel....

I think Thermal has more Defense than Flame though.

Okay, my bad.Pinching_eyes_2

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Toonpenguin - Feb. 17, 2010

Would it be a smart idea to get the heavist clear wheel, metal wheel, and track and then the lowest and fastested bottom. So basically when it hits the weight it transfer into motion and that motion transfers into energy and that energy is so large the opponents bey will most likly get knocked out ?

And if so would it be helpful in competitive play?

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Ultra - Feb. 17, 2010

Dude just follow what is says! The best defence combo at the moment is Earth bull C135WB.

Dude, he's asking if heavy parts would be good for attack...

About the question above. Well, the answer is no. Because the heavier the blade, the slower it will move (even with high speed tips), so there wouldn't be much momentum energy to give a nice hit.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Ultra - Feb. 18, 2010

Okay well it depends on the part then doesn't it for example es is the heaviest bottom but it totally sucks cause it has the same faults as s. Also defence type blade aren't really supposed to move around anyway.

Geez, he's asking if it's good for ATTACK not defense. Also, he said the lowest and fastest bottom, not the heaviest.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Ultra - Feb. 18, 2010

oh okay well I just assumed he meant attack cause why would you get the heaviest of each part for anything but a defence combo?

That was why toonpenguin asked if heavy parts were good for attack. You really need to start reading.
EDIT: And the answer was no, heavy part are bad for attack.

A good example of this is Libra CH120RF. It puts the weight on the outside so it has more speed. I'm not explaining very well, so check this out
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Libra-CH120RF?highlight=Libra+CH120
But that is the exception, not the rule. In general it will be better to have a lighter wheel.

Oops, forgot about that combo. But yeah, other than that use a lighter wheel.

p.s. Geez, how the hell did Bey Brad figure that combo out. Damn, he's smart...

step 1. dump all parts in front of you
step 2. try them all

The problem is...
I ...don't have...Libra...Unhappy
But yeah, so far my best combos are MF Earth Bull C145WB, MF Lightning L-Drago 100RF (and no, I don't have CH120Unhappy), and for stamina Flame Sagittario DF145SD.

I know, I seriously need to get my hands on more blades, but I can't find any for CHEAP. I will ask where I can buy Beyblades for cheap, but in the purchase consultation thread. 'Cause I have this feeling that you, Kai-V and/or theflightyellz with yell at me like Mad Giraffe R145WBs.

let me save you the trouble. Importing isn't cheap, and neither are hobbies.

Mixing the two together doesn't help much. I have a ballpark figure of what I've spent on this game the past year, but dare not get a total for fear of having either 1)some form of panic attack/stroke or 2) feeling real ashamed.

Wonderful, you just scared the carp out of meChocked_2.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Khel - Feb. 19, 2010

not my intention. Main goal of the post was meant to state that

1) Hobbies are expensive. Accepting that fact will lead to better purchases and general satisfaction with what one can make
2) Always be happy with what you can make. Getting new parts is great, but if it's not possible don't fret it's a game.
