RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Serotonin - Oct. 30, 2009

In the OP, I was wondering why it states the Clear Wheel used? Given that there's been no testing, is it really necessary to state which Clear Wheel is used?

---

Was testing Earth the other day, using Earth Leone DF145SD vs Flame Leone DF145SD. Initially Earth would consistently lose, and then I swapped the SDs around and Flame would consistently lose. Now I haven't exactly overused my SD, but I do think it is very important to have them mint, because they can make up a large difference.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - theflightyellz - Oct. 30, 2009

It states the clear wheel mainly due to weight. Cancer as far as I know is the heaviest of the clear wheels.
@♥: I've noticed a similar thing, a mint SD does perform considerably better than a slightly worn one. In some ways this is why I prefer D, since even a slightly worn one tends to retain it's stamina.

I think it's Bull.

To be honest, it probably doesn't matter, though.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Khel - Nov. 04, 2009

I did some testing with Earth and I think it's safe to say that it is a top tier stamina wheel.

Earth Aquila 145WD consistently beat Virgo DF145 D/SD. It never lost and tied only twice in my testing. Under all situations Earth Aquila was launched first.

I then wanted to isolate the effectiveness of Earth so I swapped 145WD for DF145SD and the performance only increased. It won every single time with greater spin retention.

I have not done enough play testing to isolate WD effectiveness yet (I think it's good) so I refrained from adding it to the list as of now. This might change in the near future.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Bey Brad - Nov. 04, 2009

Sounds promising, nice to see something overtake Virgo.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Khel - Nov. 04, 2009

While the number of matches I conducted was not nearly as extensive as Hiro's. I strongly believe if it can pull this off 5-7 times in a row it's more than enough to draw conclusions. There was a definite gap in performance between my Virgo wheel and Earth.

However if someone had one of those insane Virgo molds I would like to see results from that test. My mold is what you would call average/good. Not the best, but by no means bad.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Bey Brad - Nov. 04, 2009

i have a top-level virgo wheel but idk when i'll be getting earth

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Khel - Nov. 04, 2009

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Bey Brad - Nov. 04, 2009

Ahh, nice. It's good too see that my results weren't wrong.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Hiro Ayami - Nov. 04, 2009

I should have my Earth Aquila in mid December, with luck at least. I really look forward to getting my own tests down. Regardless Stamina Wheels are much easier to test than Attack/Defense imo, less variables especially considering Defense vs Stamina doesn't do much except sit there, sort of. Well, not that basic, but you get the picture if you've seen MF Libra C145WB vs Virgo DF145SD or something equivalent.

I'd say it's safe to include Earth. WD is probably good, but I'd like to see some specific testing for it.

The trickiest part of Stamina I figure is the mold for Virgo as Khel mentioned, I don't think anyone can help it if their Virgo mold is horribad, and vice versa. It'll come down to specific spin time tests as well, we'll probably have to gather a decent set of times for Earth's solo spin time too, bleh, tedious tedious.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - JonnB - Nov. 05, 2009

oh yea i am also curious too no Earth's solo spin time and I can't test it since i won't get min till late december....

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Corey - Nov. 06, 2009

I'll do Earth's solo spin time right now with DF145WD.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Hiro Ayami - Nov. 06, 2009

If possible could you include solo spin time with Earth DF145D, SD, or B as well? Just a bit of something for us to see for potential comparison.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - Corey - Nov. 06, 2009

My SD is damaged, but I will post B, WD, and D.
With DF145WD, I got an average spin time of about 3:05

With DF145D, I got an average spin time of about 3:40

With DF145B, I got an average spin time of about 2:55

Ball had by far the worst stamina out of the three, and wobbled earlier than the others. WD fluxuated, I got a time as large as 3:25, but as low as 2:50. D had the best stamina out of the three, which leads me to assume that SD will be even better based on tests with other combos using SD.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - theflightyellz - Nov. 06, 2009

Should Libra DF145/D125 SD/D/B really still be under stamina?
It just seems too heavy to still be considered a stamina wheel at this point.

You should use the "Build me combo!" topic instead in the future.

Wow, its been a while since I posted on this forum but I just had a couple of questions. Has anyone tested the liability of Thermal Pisces and Killer Gemios yet? Not much of the whole blade, just the Wheels. Also, what is everyone's opinion on them?

I don't think anyone has really tested T. Pisces and K. Gemios yet.

Thermal could be descent but I don't have much hope for Killer.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - cutewolfsam - Dec. 19, 2009

I find that gemios with a flat or attack type bottom with like a 125 track has apretty good smash when it hits the large parts of the wheel.

RE: Competitive Metal Fight Beyblade Combos - bey tempest - Dec. 19, 2009

what normal or killer gemios?
