Road to the Championships! - JakePlaysGamess - Mar. 02, 2012 Beyblade Story: Road to the Championships Chapter One: The Night of the Chaos I slowly opened the front door, and walked out. I was hit by the cool breeze of Stronghold Island, My home. It was called Stronghold Island because it was some sort of stronghold years ago, but it was destroyed in a terrible explosion. But enough of that. This is a different story. I walked across the cool sand to find Jay sitting gloomily on the beach. “Hey, Alex”, he mumbled. “Why the long face, Jay? Don’t you remember our plans?” Jay looked up at me. He took out his Beyblade Case, and opened it for me to see. I let out a gasp. His Case was empty. No Bey, no shooter, Nothing. “Stolen?” was all I could manage to say. He gave a small nod, “Think so,” Quite a few people were having Beys stolen lately. Jay was holding back tears. I made an attempt to cheer him up. “You could borrow a Bey from someone,” I said, jolly. “Nah. Look, Alex, I know you wanted to battle today. I’m sorry, but it’s not the same without Byxis,” He was right. You battled with your Bey, or you didn’t battle at all. Suddenly I was frustrated. “Argh!! Why steal Beyblades? It’s got to stop. Jay, I’m missing school tomorrow. I need to find whoever’s been stealing these Beys. After all, I could be next,” Then Jay startled me. “I’ll go too,” “What?” I was astonished. “I’ll skip school too. You have to remember, they took Byxis. Besides, I’ll miss that horrible Science test,” We both laughed. Even in times like this, Jay was up for a laugh. An hour later, I was thinking of a way to find the robber. My mind was a blank. I went to the kitchen of my house, and opened the fridge. I got myself out a can of cola, and drank it in about five seconds. I mulled over the conversation in my head. After all, I could be next. That’s what I’d said..... That’s it! You should try to describe the scene more so the readers can see what the characters look like, what the place they're at looks like, and how they act (Unless you were going more for a "See them as you want"?)
