I think it will be an awesome game. Metroid has always impressed me and its showing that Nintendo is willing to experiment new things with there best characters

They're only doing this because Prime 2 & 3 didn't do as well as they thought they should have.

I thought they were dropping Metroid Prime anyway.

Well Retro was apparently working on another Nintendo game, but after Prime 3 didn't burn up the charts apparently the project was pulled from them.

If I remember right, I don't think they wanted to make another one anyway but ever way, it is still finished on that.

Well, with what the trailer showed of the combat, it definatly looks like Ryu's long lost sister may be Samus! I mean, seriously, the cameras looked similar (although you can bet that the cams will have the same problems that the Gaidens do) as did the combat styles, like when she jumped up on that huge monster.
