I was about to go to bed when i looked at that bit chip booster package I noticed something funny and I wound up pulling out a uriel bit chip sticker. What should I do i'm one chip short >< P.s i am using my 3Ds

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - th!nk - Aug. 30, 2012

It's ariel, not uriel.

I'd hold onto it until you get a spare blank bit chip, or get another NIB bey with a secondary sticker you don't care about and can leave un-applied. Either that, or if you buy off another member see if they have any spare blank butchips they could throw in, or something.

What're the Bit Chip Protector thingy's called? Like those clear plastic pieces that go on to Plastic Beyblades. (I think I usually know, but my mind went blank, so...)

Example: (The plastic over the bit chip).

Perhaps a bit chip protector, though I'm not certain.
(Possibly a bit chip cover?)

Can the RC Beyblades be customized? or are the like the "Hasbro IR Spin Control" beys?
EDIT: If yes, are their parts legal in tournaments?

Also another question. I have Cross Griffon, and Ten Wide, and I plan to get Galeon soon. If I were to get a Beyblade for its aggressive base, should it be Gaia Dragoon V, for its Neo Right SG and SG Metal Flat 2, to be used with Cross Griffon and Ten Wide, or Dragoon V2, using Galeon's SG to make Customize Grip Base spin right, and using Dragoon's to make War Lion spin left?

Yup. They can switch ARs, that's just about it. The WD is built into the BB (Which has the RC gears and all).

They are called Bit Protectors if I'm thinking right.

Really? I thought Bit Protectors were on HMS beyblades.

Indeed they are on HMS blades, but I believe they share a name with the 4-layer plastic generation clear bit chip covers.

Ahh, good. I was correct. Thank you.

So I am in my right mind today... Good...

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - th!nk - Aug. 31, 2012

It's called a "bit cover" apparently. Glad it was in one of the guide books, I wasn't even aware it had a name, hah.

Edit: woah hey look at me raining on everyone's parade.

Bit Cover? Seriously? I never knew... Okay, thanks. lol.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - th!nk - Aug. 31, 2012

Yeah, it rings a bell to me but I've not actually seen it called that online. It's from an official source though so yeah.

I really need to scan these guidebooks for everyone, but I'm tempted to hold off longer because it's doing my katakana reading ability more good than three years of japanese in high school ever could, haha.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - K!d Death - Aug. 31, 2012

Is Gaia Dragoon any good?

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - th!nk - Aug. 31, 2012

The AR can be used to fix zeus's SAR in place for a great attack setup but gaia dragoon v's does the job slightly better. The base has a really nice movement pattern but it has horrible LAD so it's not very useful. The WD is usually heavy attack which is horrible like all the attack WD's (though it's slightly better than the others because it has decent weight to it).

Overall it's really more of a collection piece.

Thanks dude. Also,Galmon(did I spell it right?)useful in anyway?

Screw it,just tell me the most useful plastic and i'll save my money them

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - th!nk - Aug. 31, 2012

Galman is very outclassed, don't bother with it.

There's no "best" plastic. Best uncustomized is probably Driger V2, best on a budget is Driger G, most useful is probably (Non-Sonokong) Driger S or Dragoon V2.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - Justaway - Sep. 01, 2012

I am planning to buy some more Plastics.
So, just wanted to know which one to get:
1. Burning Kerberous+Galzzly
2. Wolborg 4+Galzzly+Metal Driger
3. Wolborg 4 + Galzzly + Driger G

I have most of the competitive parts but I dont yet have a Bearing bey. BK would be useful for Zombies and will also let me use FACB's shaft and CGB. Galzzly is essential for completing the War Bear+Dragon Breaker setup(mine broke during Beydays). Wolborg 4 is very good against most customs. Metal Driger for HMC. And Driger G for Triple Tiger. But, since I cant get all of them, I need to know which would be better of these. Or, should I get something else?

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - Ultra - Sep. 01, 2012

Do you have the parts to make the zombie though? Also if you have the war bear set up (or will) I don't think there's much point in buying Driger G.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - th!nk - Sep. 01, 2012

Given his bases I'd actually recommend driger g. He's had recoil troubles at tourneys so a safer option might be in order, and triple tiger is underrated as heck. With the optimum setups it's roughly on par with war breaker though war breaker does slightly better against some more common stuff (slightly better against Wolborg 4 combos) and has better range, triple tiger does slightly less terribly against defensive zombies, has sightly more stamina and less recoil - though its no more forgiving because it requires light weight and maximum speed.

If you have wide defense I'd actually suggest trying to track down a Wolborg 2, defensive zombie stamina is only slightly worse than regular zombies so they can be used as subs, especially as if someone uses the best Wolborg 4 setup even the best zombies have a very hard time.

I wouldn't stress too much about a new galzzly. It's possible I've just been extremely lucky for my SAR not to break.

Wolborg 4 and driger g are both great buys though.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - Justaway - Sep. 01, 2012

I think it will be better if I list my parts/beys, so here goes:
My only 'zombie' is Spiral Change Base + Wide Survivor. And Driger V2(with MG Core and 10 Heavy) is all I use at tourneys along with Dragoon G+Wide Defense+SG Semi Flat 2.

And yeah, I dont want Driger F's shaft to lie useless for long either(the reason I insisted on getting Burning Kerberous).

I'll see if I can find a Wolborg 2.

Anyway, what should I buy then?

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - Ultra - Sep. 01, 2012

He knows what you've got better than I do. However what do you usually encounter at plastic tourneys where you are?

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (Q&A/Purchase Consultation/Combo Advice for Plastics (not HMS!)) - Justaway - Sep. 01, 2012

Well, I listed my parts up there XD

Usually, I lend out plastics so, I encounter mediocre attackers(which use Flat Base) or Driger S combos. And, EG beys(which do surprisingly well here). Other than that, it's JSBs combos which I never seem to defeat unless he mislaunches(there was only one instance when I defeated him) XD

Wolborg 2's BB will be better on a FACB Shaft combo than BK's. Definitely recommend wolborg 2 as you then just need SP to make a solid defensive zombie and you might be able to get away with just wolborg 2's base maybe.
With all the random aggro combos running around a defensive zombie is probably a slightly safer bet. I'd also suggest picking up a Metal Dranzer for the AR, should do better than TD though you don't need it if you don't want it.

So suggestions:
SG (Free Shaft Version): You absolutely need Dranzer S's casings to use FACB shaft well.
Wolborg 2: Incredible BB and Shaft.
Master/Kid Dragoon: Must have if you want to use FACB Shaft.
Voltaic Ape or Dranzer V2 or Dark Series Bey: You need good SP for Dragoon V2's bb. I'd go with VA personally, Dark Series Beys are expensive and rare, though the SP is great for right spin attack with triple tiger.
Metal Driger: HMC+Wide Defense on Driger V2 = great cover-most-things beyblade. Will do better than MG+10h
Burning Kerberous: SG is great on its own or using Wolborg 2's shaft. Base is nice but Wolborg 2's is generally better.
Metal Dranzer: Better in left spin than Tiger Defenser for both defense and survival.

You have triple wing so you don't *need* driger g, but Triple Tiger is a nice AR to have especially with CGB.
Wolborg 4 is a great beyblade but if your meta has a lot of random right spin stuff with decent stamina or that is fairly tall and few left spin opponents, it might struggle to be worthwhile. You have the parts to use it though.
