Yeah, those prices are definitely good in my opinion, very good even, given they are recolors.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jan. 17, 2014

Hey guys, I just got a lot of beys from Poland and I´m really not sure if they´re all real. The seller told me that they were "all 100% original Takara or Hasbro release", but I highly doubt that...
Could you please check the pictures and tell me which ones are Takara/Hasbro and which ones are fake?

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Yami - Jan. 17, 2014

You should look under the AR and see of there any prints of Takara or Hasbro

I did, but not every bey has such a print, even some of my collection don´t have "Takara" or "hasbro" printed and I know for 100% they´re real

Thank you very much, th!nk!

Wow, I really thought that blue Dragoon S might be real... Should be reading more in BeyWiki, I guess Grin

I´m positive that I will get my money back for the fakes and the fixed ones, because the seller said in his item´s descriptions they were real for sure, mint and part of his own collection (only the pictures´quality was quite bad). That´s wrong and so the ebay customer service will solve it. They´re strict when it comes to fakes.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - th!nk - Jan. 18, 2014

Blue Dragoon S has a wolborg base with dragoon stickers in a color that to my knowledge was never released, and the AR molding is rather poorly defined.

Well none of those are mint by any stretch of the word, so that alone is a major issue.

Hmm I see. Do you think it would be fair if I got 50% refund on the real ones (because they´re not mint as he said) and full refund for the fakes?

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - th!nk - Jan. 18, 2014

On closer inspection, Black Gaia Dragoon and BBA Attacker look mint or close to it, Seaborg perhaps as well. Aside from those, I think something like what you've stated would be reasonable though admittedly remuneration is not really my area.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jan. 18, 2014

Ok, thanks a lot. I will try to solve the problem with the seller and then leave a short post here how it ended.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - beyblaise - Jan. 18, 2014

I need to part that screws the beyblade together for Ronin Dragoon (shogun steel), Leviathan(shogun steel), and cosmic pegasus (metal masters). We would rather not have to purchase a new beyblade for each of those but can not find where to buy individual parts for those particular beyblades. Seems like Metal fusion have sites that sell individual parts but I can not find anywhere to buy individual parts for shogun steel or metal masters....

Please help.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - kamadude1216 - Jan. 18, 2014

Would this seller happen to be markoplgda on eBay? Since you mentioned Poland

(Jan. 18, 2014  10:15 PM)kamadude1216 Wrote: Would this seller happen to be markoplgda on eBay? Since you mentioned Poland

Yes, he is. Do you know something about him? Would you mind telling me?

Here´s his reply:

"lol.I have all of this beyblades from Japan because my family live there.
All beyblades was bought in reccomended toys shops. So there is no scame.
In my opinion one or two beyblades was not okey and that's why you want to return me all of them.
Dragoon S blue I opened from takara booster pack so I am sure in 100% that's orginal.
And most of beyblades that you said that are fakes I opened from booster.
So please don't make idiot of me."

EDIT: btw I never asked him for full refund, only for tha fakes and the damaged ones...

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - th!nk - Jan. 19, 2014

If most of the fakes were "from boosters" he's a fool who doesn't know how to tell a real booster from a fake one. Not 100% sure what the process is from there but if he won't do anything about it voluntarily, that's what ebay/paypal are there for.

If it helps any, seeing as I just noticed and he mentioned dragoon S specifically: On closer inspection, the Base on that Dragoon S is not an actual real part - that's Wolborg's SG (in a color in which it was never released) and the Base is shaped like Dragoon S's, but with a much, much larger hole modified to fit Wolborg's SG which I don't even think is possible to actually do with a real one even with tools. That kinda thing is not unheard of with fakes and even if it weren't, given the SG is a color that was never released (the only blue wolborg 1 is a metallic blue one with a black tip) so no, it's most definitely not from "a takara booster". Lastly, the Attack Ring's molding is far too poorly defined to be a legitimate one, so that is fake too. Alos, fake Beyblades are basically just as common in Japan as anywhere else.

Really not up to writing up a full description of why everything is fake right now but if it comes down to needing that to get your money back and you think it'll help I can do that for you in the next few days, but yeah.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jan. 19, 2014

Oh yes, it does help a lot! Thank you th!nk, I´m really grateful for your information! Smile I told the seller about that "Dragoon S" to show him that we can proof that a fake is a fake and that we can do for the other fakes as well.

(Jan. 19, 2014  1:57 PM)th!nk Wrote: Really not up to writing up a full description of why everything is fake right now but if it comes down to needing that to get your money back and you think it'll help I can do that for you in the next few days, but yeah.

Thanks a LOT for the offer! I´m really touched that you would really do that! Smile I hope it won´t come down to that though...

I just opened a few ebay cases and asked for full refund for the fake and 50% for the damaged. I´ll wait for a reply and then post it here immediately.

Here´s his reply:

"There is no return option so I do for you a favour to return it.
But you don't want it. I called ebay worker and have doubts that you want to take them for free.
Return them back and you will get refund. No other options.
Thanks.
Ps. Opinion of users from forum =not proof
My worker which send beyblades and me work with beyblades from the beggining.
So opinion of forum guys is carp for me. They think that they know everything but they might know nothing.
You could post negative your buissnes I will do the same."

EDIT: Ok, I talked to a member of the ebay customer service. They said that if the seller doesn´t give me a refund, I will have to give them either a certificate that I brought a charge against the seller from the police office or - if that doesn´t work - a statement of an authorized expert (WBO moderator will work, too, they said) saying that the beys are really fake.
I have to wait for 10 days now and if the seller and I don´t come to an agreement, I can ask the ebay customer service to solve it. In that case I would really have to ask you, th!nk, if you could write such a statement for me.
Actually I wouldn´t bother you with such things, but that case is about $150, so...
But again, I hope that this won´t be neccesary.
I´ll keep you guys up-to-date about the case.

EDIT 2:

I told him That I will give him a negative feedback because of his rudeness and asked him not to pm me any more and let ebay solve the case in 10 days. Here´s his reply:

"Dear Buyer,
You are much more rude because you call me lier and doesnt have any knowladge of beyblades.
But the Way this "experts" could only judge beyblades by photos. So they easy could make mistake.
My last offert is to sent me back all beyblades and you will get 100% refund after all.
Adress I gave you earlier. You won't get your money back due to your case to ebay.
Because they think the same that you want to take them for free.
Another think is that you have degree or something in materials?
Because I am finishing studies of materials and I have little knowladge About it.
All beyblades is starting to became weaker,colors is starting to change to more bright and other chemical reaction is going on. Plastic like this lives up to 20 years. After that period it's became very crapy."

Honestly, the silliest mail I´ve ever recieved...

After that I called the customer service again and here are some facts:
- Neither did he contact ebay nor did they say that I only wanted them for free (because if they did, they´d lose their jobs)
- I will get my money back fore sure, if I send them a wbo moderator´s statement in 10 days.

th!nk, I´m afraid I really need your statement about those fakes to get my money back...

So for all other members who are interested in purchasing beys from ebay: BEWARE, markoplgda is a defrauder who sells fakes and then gets rude and outragous, not to mention he´s lying all the time just to browbead the buyers who recognise his scam!

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Ga' - Jan. 21, 2014

oh lol another guy who's trying to pull a college degree on us? Sounds like gibsonmac!

Clearly that won't make much of a difference, having a degree doesn't mean you can refute hard evidence...

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - th!nk - Jan. 21, 2014

Oh, just posting to say sorry, I didn't see your edits. I'm about to go to sleep but I will write that up for you tomorrow and you can have one of the mods (Kai-V is usually the person to go to) give it the stamp of approval or whatever it is (I think she's dealt with things like this once or twice before so she'd know about the process but yeah).

This guy sounds like a massive jerk though, I mean I get not trusting someone on a forum but I mean jeez come on the list of what plastic parts exist is not exactly shrouded in mystery.

ALSO OH MY GOODNESS I JUST NOTICED THE PLASTIC LIVES FOR ONLY 20 YEARS HAHAHA IM DYIN' THIS GUY IS LEGIT KILLING ME HERE
ABS is pretty tough stuff (well, some issues with UV but generally speaking other than that plenty of stuff is made from it). For reference, I own lego blocks that are more than 20 years old and they're just fine, also ABS, so no, he's talking out his behind (I mean you can also google it - ABS pipes last around 50, for example, if you look deeper I'm sure you can find other stuff on it but 20 is way off the mark).

Yes, he´s just blabbering to browbeat me so that I will close the cases. As you might know I´m currently studying construction engineering and I´m already through materials and, I swear, that guy doesn´t have a degree in that, if he´s talking like that...
Plastic is REALLY tough and when it´s not stressed permanently but only lying in a shelf, it can last for half an eternity, at least about 100 years (sure, then it really is a little crappy, but still doesn´t change from green to purple or grow Wolborgs base Tongue_out You don´t need a degree in anything to know that...).

That´s why I didn´t respond any more. I´m sure this guy knows exactly that his stuff is fake and just doesn´t want to admit it. He obviously doesn´t want me to go to the police, too, because then he would be charged for fraud (he only insisted on sending back the obviously faked ones...). Seems to get cold feet now.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - sporkseller - Jan. 22, 2014

I'll make an (highly...ahem...educated) assumption that you're not in Poland yourself. I would offer this then - make sure whatever you do pay for delivery confirmation for the return. I also suggest you shoot an unedited video of yourself packing, sealing, and labeling the return package (if return is the route you choose). It's very hard to do with multiple items, but I know from experience eBay will visit a YouTube video to see proof - I video document the opening of all my returns to show exactly what's in the package. Some people try to return a rock instead of the item they bought because eBay refunds process automatically once delivery is confirmed for the return item; though I guess this is true only when a formal eBay case has been opened.

Also, I know the exact fake blue dragoon with Wolborg base. Yes, it's utterly fake. (I use it with my illegal bearing gyros WD).

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jan. 22, 2014

Thanks for the info sporkseller! Hmm you're right, I've never thought of that possibility.
But anyway, I don't even think of sending it back to that jerk. And I don't need to do according to what the ebay guy said. They say that return policy stuff is only for the case that you just don't like your item. But he didn't send me what I purchased, that is mint takara or hasbro beyblades. Btw the price of each bey was less that EUR 25. If it was more, I actually would have to send it back (but when I have proof that it's fake, I don't have to send it back either), but in this case there's really no need (not only because of the low price), I will get my money back either way, when I can convince them that they´re really fake.
And I would have to pay for shipping myself, if I sent it back... I've already paid for shipping to get those fakes and I won't pay a second time to get rid of them again.

EDIT: AND I don't want to give him a chance to sell those fakes again as "originals" and scam other people, who don't have nice wbo members helping them.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - Kai-V - Jan. 22, 2014

I can write you a statement on why th!nk is the best person to present a statement about plastics, hah. Seriously, I cannot really tell from the photographs, so if you absolutely need something from a World Beyblade Organization staff member, a 'redirect' letter is basically all I could do.

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jan. 22, 2014

The guys from ebay say, this will work. Smile Thanks, Kai-V!

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - th!nk - Jan. 22, 2014

While I'm not staff myself, the site's Administrators can attest to my expertise with regards to this particular generation. Here is my expert opinion on the Beyblades you received:

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/stoney2208/maybe%20fake/IMG_2621_zps415386c1.jpg
Knight Dranzer was never released in this color, and while the similar Master Driger was (of course, it has entirely different stickers), the very dull, waxy-looking plastic and extremely poor molding most visible in the indentation on two of the wings mark this as a particularly obvious fake.

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/stoney2208/maybe%20fake/IMG_2618_zps9fbed72e.jpg
The Base on this Beyblade, which is supposed to be a Dragoon S, is not even a copy of a real part, but an amalgamation of two - that's Wolborg's SG (in a color in which it was never released – there is a metallic blue wolborg, but its tip is black and its other parts are chromed) and the Base is shaped like Dragoon S's, but with a much, much larger hole to fit Wolborg's Spin Gear. The Attack Ring's molding is also too poorly defined to be authentic. Finally, another reliable user has reported seeing an identical fake in the past. Fake.

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/stoney2208/maybe%20fake/IMG_2603_zps97e9c01c.jpg
Aside from the comically poor molding and cheap, waxy looking plastic, Draciel S was never released in this color, and the poorly printed metallic bit sticker is even more proof that this is a fake (and one of the most obvious I've seen for some time).

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/stoney2208/maybe%20fake/IMG_2602_zps26f00ee5.jpg
Aside from the visibly poorly molded Attack Ring underside and the fact Draciel Metal Ball Defenser was never released in this color, Metal Ball Base has a plastic tip – changes to metal tips just like this one were extremely common for various brands of fakes (eg "Tornado Spin", a common fake brand in Western Australia, who usually miscolored 4 Layer System beyblades like Draciel Metal Ball Defenser – I would not be surprised if this and a few others here were made by the same factory as those). Blatantly fake.

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/stoney2208/maybe%20fake/IMG_2598_zps04bf58a6.jpg
Another case of a Beyblade never being released in this color and having a metal tip instead of the original (which was rubber, in this case). Again, this is the same tip as was placed into Tornado Spin's fake versions of this particular Beyblade (Seaborg). Blatantly fake.

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/stoney2208/maybe%20fake/IMG_2627_zps6f40fd58.jpg
http://s1299.photobucket.com/user/stoney2208/media/maybe%20fake/Fotso_zpse3e8ae09.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1
While Galmans are often not the best molded beyblades, this is poorer than normal, and the plastic both glossier and more waxy in appearance than a legitimate one should be. Furthermore, on the off chance the base is legitimate (it would have to come from a very rare recolor of a very old Beyblade), it is not the one this attack ring should come with, and the spin gear part inside, which is authentic, comes from a separate Beyblade from the other two parts (likely a Bistool).

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/stoney2208/maybe%20fake/IMG_2633_zps0dc5364c.jpg
While the parts themselves could be legitimate (though they would need to be from rather rare recolors, the base at least appears to be authentic), the four parts of this beyblade are all from completely different ones - The attack ring is from Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger, the Blade Base presumably the clear recolor of Ultimate Frostic Dranzer, the Bit Chip from another color of Ultimate Frostic Dranzer, and the Weight Disk does not come with any of those. Even if it is real, this was not an officially released Beyblade, but an amalgamation of parts from others.

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/stoney2208/maybe%20fake/IMG_2624_zps3c13ad9d.jpg
This Master Driger's Attack Ring has broken (Knight Claws Rings are rather fragile) and is now held together with wire. Even if it is legitimate, this beyblade is far from a saleable state unless marked as junk/broken etc.

The photographs provided are more than sufficient to assess their legitimacy – none of these fakes are particularly convincing, any seller aware of the existence of fake beyblades would be able to tell at least that the majority of these are not authentic. I hope this is of use to your case.

Alex Smith (th!nk)

RE: [Plastics] :: Q&A Thread - ~Stoney~ - Jan. 22, 2014

Ok, thanks A LOT, th!nk! Smile Could the clear Metal Dragoon be real?
