RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Hazel - Mar. 05, 2012

Master Driger does not have an HMC at all... HMC comes with the nasty green one, th!nk, not the earwax yellow one.

The Gold Driger S is a Sono Kong thing, yes.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Mar. 05, 2012

Autocorrect/Swype went funky yesterday. I have three metal drigers and wrote the article on master driger. Twas a typo.

Yes, metal driger has the HMC and master driger is a terrible beyblade.

gamecreator, I've had no trouble with non-gold Sonokong products, could you post pictures of your issue?

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Janstarblast - Mar. 05, 2012

Purchase Consultation question!
More correctly, a trade consultation question.
People might be knowing my love for DGV2. But with a current plastics tourney coming up, I might have to resort to not getting DGV2 (unfortunately), and try for something else instead. :\
The fact that DGV2 is average uncustomized, and the only Competitive part it comes with (Customize Grip) is useless in my case. I have no bearings, and the Customize Grip will have to be used the way it is (with the blue rubber tip), and yes, that'll be my best Attack tip too. The AR, shall also become my best Attack AR. So now my question is, should I actually even get a Dragoon V2?! If I want to remain Competitive, then probably not.
But its going to be a once-in-a-lifetime plastic purchase/trade, so if I do not get DGV2, then I may probably not get it forever...

But well, assuming that I give up on DGV2, what bey other bey, which might be competitively useful for me, can be traded in exchange for a Dragoon G Blue Recolor (which according to Evolution, Poseidon and Benjohadi, should cost around $40-$50)?
My current beys-
Driger V
Master Dranzer x2
White Gabriel G (useless, as I have no sub-AR to use...)
Rapid Eagle G
Dragoon F

Spare parts-
Flash Leopard's (the one which came with Panther Claw) BB.

Wow, my collection has become smaller! I wonder where did I lose my beys now! Confused

Or instead, I'll just go for a Dragoon V2 and stay out of plastic tourneys, and stick to collecting just MFB top tiers, and tourneys...

EDIT- I consulted Evolution, Poseidon and Benjohadi more than 6 months ago. So, the price of Dragoon G might probably differ, now...

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Mar. 05, 2012

I would still say get Dragoon V2. You REALLY want it, and the base is a great attack base anyway.
If you can get it to not break, try Master Dranzer's AR, Right Spin, with 10 Wide WD. Also, try Rapid Eagle G's AR, in case it is actually decent.

Heck, you could even see if someone is able to get you a normal Dragoon G before the tournament, and use its AR, 10 Wide, Neo Left SG (MG Core if you have one, or the MW Core or whatever), and Dragoon V2's SP and BB. It makes for a pretty decent attacker, you just gotta be able to slide shoot well and launch really, really hard.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Janstarblast - Mar. 05, 2012

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Its good to know that Dragoon V2 still remains the nicest bey for me to get. Smile
I'll try to get an Eight Spiker at the tourney, if possible.
Ah, the Left SG casings are the only problem, which will be solved upon the arrival of a Dragoon V2.
And yes, I have an MG Core. Both North Pole and South Pole versions. I guess the versions do not matter as long as I play in a MagneDish...
And, which one to get- Dragoon V2 without MG WD or the one with MG WD?
Any nice uses for MG WD?

Thanks again!

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Mar. 05, 2012

MG WD is the closest thing to a zombie WD hasbro released, but Wide Defense is literally better for everything.

Go with either, honestly, unless you lack a 10 Wide. If you do get the MG WD one, make sure the WD still has it's plastic covers or it isn't tourney legal.

As for MG Cores, yeah, there's no difference, unless you're in a magnedish.

As for the "best" beyblade you could get, honestly, there are plenty of "best" beyblades you could get, but Dragoon V2 is a great beyblade and one you want.
A Driger S and a Metal Driger would be more useful and perhaps be possible around that price, or perhaps wolborg 4 and Driger S, if you have a 10 Balance, but I can guarantee that after the tournament you'd regret not having bought Dragoon V2.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Janstarblast - Mar. 05, 2012

OK, I'd go for the normal version of the WD, then. Smile
I probably have 10 Wide. Three of them, if I am not mistaken. All from the three EG beys I own (Gabriel, Dragoon and Eagle).
As for the Driger S and Metal Driger, I never knew they would cost around the same. But well, they aren't aesthetically pleasing to look at. And as there are hardly any tourneys here, not only will I regret over me not getting Dragoon V2, but I'll also frown over the not-so-beautiful beys I chose over a beauty. If there was something which would have been both competitive and beautiful, it would have compensated for the Dragoon V2, haha!
But yeah, as there aren't many tourneys here, its probably dumb to give up on a bey I like so much, just so that I can win 8-10 battles. Tongue_out
Thanks!

it's not really something you could identify. it's just that the AR, SG and WD are smaller than average, and can't really be used with anything else, but i did manage to get it's SG to fit into Hasbro Trypio's base, but it took alot of effort to remove

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Gamecreator916 - Mar. 06, 2012

and i just realized the ripcord is smaller & thinner than normal :\

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Mar. 06, 2012

Weird, are you sure it's real? Normal sonokong plastics have never given me trouble Confused

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Poseidon - Mar. 06, 2012

Jan, properly worth more along the lines of $30 considering it's condition and rarity. I'd say definately still a fair trade! If your intersted in the AR, shoot me a PM, Ill sort something out!

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - galaxyunicorn - Mar. 07, 2012

How much is a used Master Dranzer (By hasbro) worth?

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Mar. 07, 2012

Relatively little. It's not a hugely popular beyblade. It really would depend how worn it is, though.

I asked it because I saw this:

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Mar. 07, 2012

It's not worth anything near that.

Used, I'd guess $10 max, but one of the more price-knowledgeable may have a more accurate price but that is what I would consider a fair price.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Kenshin - Mar. 09, 2012

I have some probably hard to answer questions about some Beyblade products. First does anyone have any info on the MA-12 NEO Bakuten Henkei 1 or anything about Gyro Armors? And does anyone have any info on what the names of the parts for the Bakutenryu Zeo or Aveiron are?

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Ultra - Mar. 09, 2012

Those things aren't to do with beyblade. I know that some places say they do but we don't threat them like that here at all. Information on Zeo and Aveiron is generally very limited(mainly since so few people own them and also back when they were released they wouldn't have been at the lowest of anyone's buying list). Th!nk has purchased one Zio though so when it arrives he'll be very keen to document it since he doesn't like that we have no proper info on the parts either.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Justaway - Mar. 10, 2012

Purchase Consultation question:
What do I get first? Burning Kerberous or Wolborg 2?
I need them for 2 reasons:
1. To make Zombies.
2. To use with Driger F's shaft for making some attackers. I have two Driger F's and I want to make use of at least one of them.

And one more:
Is there any use of Zeus(Takara)?

as i recalled..Zeus Ar has a wide usage for zombie if i not mistaken..correct me if i'm wrong..the BB and CG is pretty outclasssed btw..

i would go with Wolborg 2 since its BB has more uses..and wolborg 2 would be much cheaper than BK..

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Justaway - Mar. 10, 2012

Actually I am getting them for almost similar costs.. thats the reason I asked here because otherwise I would have gotten the cheaper one.. Tongue_out And both seem to have the same sort of uses so..

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Benjohadi - Mar. 10, 2012

ah..i see..in term of value..of course BK would be much more valuable than Wolborg 2..but mmmm...i still would prefer Wolborg 2 BB for Zombie..
if you can..get both of them..haha

but th!nk would be better in this..haha..lets wait for him to respond.. XD

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Justaway - Mar. 10, 2012

Yeah right. Well but one advantage BK has over Wolborg 2 is that it has the ability to hold SPs which Wolborg 2 cant. So I can make good combo like Driger F's Shaft, Upper Attack SP and so on in Burning Kerberous' base. And since I may not get other parts too soon. the tip of BK will also serve as a good survival tip till I get other beys. However, I dont know if these advantages are enough to choose it over a rubber-bearing tip.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Benjohadi - Mar. 10, 2012

one thing in my mind in which i suggest Wolborg 2..if you are getting BK..you would be troubled enough to get other arts i.e. Upper attack SP (Driger V2 is not cheap) XD
but if you able to get the parts for it..i believe..BK wold be a better choice..

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - Justaway - Mar. 10, 2012

I have already won the lot with Driger V2 Tongue_out so I have it and I also have Dranzer S along with 2 Driger Fs. Thats why I am more inclined towards Burning Kerberous.. just need to make sure if my choice is right.

RE: Plastics Q&A Thread (All Plastics Questions Go Here!) - th!nk - Mar. 10, 2012

Benjo burning kerberous is the best zombie beyblade... I'd go with that, as in India you're more likely to fave cheap but good combos like Wolborg 4 things, which BK, in a good combo, will outspin. It's SG is also good for using Wolborg 2's shaft in.

That said, seeing as you're in BB-10, Wolborg 2 might be useful for a reliable general use combo.

@ Kenshin: will look into those.
