RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Rustled Jimmies - Aug. 16, 2012

Yeah, Ryousuke Miura has a very feminine appearance. If you look at the CD cover of Kamen Rider Fourze's opening single, "Switch On!", the performer Anna Tsuchiya looks MAD like Ryousuke Miura in his Ankh appearance. But as of the new project he's doing with Watanabe Shu (I forgot what it's called, something called Piece), he dyed his hair black. It's probably his make-up. Actors are usually required to wear make-up.

Well, I did back when I was in my high school theater productions, anyway.

So, I tried using GIMP for my comics for the first time. Now, I've always used Photoshop for the past 2 years before my laptop died and wiped it off my harddrive completely. And because that copy of Photoshop wasn't acquired through...legal means, I didn't want to risk doing it again for the sake of my new laptop. But good GOD I'm so frustrated with GIMP right now. Every time I try to use the Path tool with the Elliptical tool for the speech bubbles, I always end up mucking it up when I try to make the speech bubble itself, and the only path made is the tail of the speech bubble!

I'm frustrated because I've been working on my comics since I returned from Indiana, and I was really excited to get a start on them again. But now that I'm at a crucial point, I don't know what to do. Tutorials (yes, I Googled for them) do not help because I can't fathom my GIMP problems. I'm sure it's because I'm using 2.8 when all these tutorials catered to 2.6 or so. It's just...I'm...I'm at a loss of what to do, and it's frustrating. Mostly because I'm using a brand new tool for my comics, and it's a lot different than what I'm used to.

So do you ever have that one kid that freaks you out, and when they're unusual enough, they just do or say something to make you wonder about them even more? Well, yeah...

I have a girl (Michelle Gray) in my grade. She always wears black clothing, listens to Scream-O music, dances in an unusual way, and is quite sensitive on a lot of subjects.

This morning, she screamed in such a way that I thought it was somewhat "demonic" (don't warn me for this discussion please). Us kids shook it off as nothing, but yeah, made me wonder about her...

That's... creepy. It was probably nothing, but that's definitely something you will think about for a while, ahaha.

Theres a girl like that, but she's a Freshman at my school. Her nickname is Noonoo because I didn't want to say her name.

Also Insomniac, I am starting to use "ﺕ"

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - sarabscientist - Aug. 17, 2012

The phone's setting for the keyboard is defaulted to arabic, haha. So instead of switching back to english and putting in the colon and parentheses, I used that letter, which resembles a smiley face XD

Also, there is no english spellcheck, so excuse any missing apostrophes and other things.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Aug. 17, 2012

I knew it was arabic, but I couldn't resist using it as a smiley face. ﺕ

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - TakasuMouce - Aug. 17, 2012

Today, I went on a little mission at the Recreation Center.
Well, I was being pro and playing table teniis and all, but I
it turns out someones phone got stolen.

From under the table.

Me and my sis were witnesses, and because I have a hard time reconizing people, I wasn't too much of a help.
Until it when to the camera footage and the technical side.
The staff didn't know how to work the play back on the cameras; proof of who stole the IPhone 4.
The staff even played the wrong day! XD
I had to help them get the right time and footage, and explain the plan of the "criminal" in a psychological way.
Three teens saw a IPhone on the floor next to the table. They planned to pick it up.
Me and mu sis came and began playing ping pong. She notified the teens of the phone because she thought they worked there because of their shirts. Turned out they were part of the Green teens program.
Anyhow, me and my sis went to the room, and were asked to identify the culprit. But it wasn't one, but three teens.
They saw the phone, and after notifying them, one picked the phone up, went behind a bar that blocked view from one camera, and secretly turned it off. He passed it to the other guy, who put the phone in his bookbag.

We looked at the footage, and we identified them. A woman went to the room, and said "Give me the phone or Ill call the cops."
The teenage responded with a "Fine."
But the cops came after all, and the three learned their lesson.

Guess why they stole it.

Because he lost his phone and no one helped him find it. He took the phone so that would be his new phone.
Stupid decision.

And after saying thanks, the staff began to eye my Naval Intel pin. I took a lollypop and was on my way.

And me and my sis get a gift Monday.

A lesson on helping. And not to steal. And not to be stupid.

Mission=Success.

What a mission! You must've felt like such a hero, good work Smile

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Duck - Aug. 17, 2012

So, as I was telling Insomniac earlier, I was helping out at VBS earlier, and I had to dress up as a giant bee. Unhappy Yes, a giant fuzzy bee. *sighes* It was hot, and sweaty, and my hair was constantly in my eyes! ...But it was really fun, anyway! I got to sing with the kids and stuff. It was all good! Grin

I'm really excited, because my dad gave me an old laptop, but it absolutely cannot connect to the Internet for reasons we haven't figured out yet. Why am I excited, then, you ask? Because I can type my stories on it without being interrupted!!! BD

Standard teenager things.

Why? Obviously she's just acting as she wants to be seen, or whatever, and you are apparently gullible enough to fall for it.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - sarabscientist - Aug. 17, 2012

I used to have this girl in my class who used to act like a cat(legit). She used to crawl around on the floor and claw people's legs and meow. Obviously, attention seeking. But she also ate scabs (not even lying here). And last but not least, refused to take the rotting banana out of her locker for a good month or two. So yeah, pretty disgusting. Good thing she dropped out of the french program and went back into english stream XD

Its a shame, what extent people go to for attention D:

That's... really... gross... especially the parts about the scabs and the banana. Did she eat other people's scabs, or just her own? That'd be... almost cannibalistic if she ate other people's scabs. Did she ever get suspended?

She kinda sounds like Motti... XD

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - sarabscientist - Aug. 17, 2012

Ew, thankfully she kept to her own scabs. That'd be weird ... "Hello, can I have your scab?"

This was in 7th grade. And we're in highschool now. Girl turned mentally unstable or emo Chocked_2, or so I've heard.

LOL I would die laughing if someone asked me that!!! I'd tell them ask their mother, hah!

An emo Motti, huh? Chocked_2

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - sarabscientist - Aug. 17, 2012

Apperantly, the girl's parents are divorced and one even suggested for her to enroll herself in a mental asylum. Pretty non-supportive D:

Still doesn't suffice for a legit reason to publicly display her scab feasts :o Or refuse to remove a composting banana. Heck, they hosed out the locker afterwards.

Aw, that's sad... Crying Divorce is a terrible thing.

So true! *cough*I'm dying laughing over here! Scab feasts...*cough*

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - TakasuMouce - Aug. 17, 2012

I really want to phone an Indian Scammer right now.
I want to say a lady told me I have a virus on my computer, and pretend I do what they say, like check the log files, and then annoy them by giving detailed explanations on how they aren't Microsoft, and that logs don't help you see viruses.

Just need a number to call and I'm all set.

I'd like to have cereal right now, I have the frosted flakes in my lap. Just the box, but no milk. These are the days I wish I could teleport.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - sarabscientist - Aug. 17, 2012

Has anyone ever heard of a cassowary? Its a weird and large ostrich-like bird from Australia (no duh). It looks like a sheep morphed with a ostrich and a dinosaur. Here it is, in all its Australian glory:

This is a real animal! The thing on its head resembles a dinosaur's crest. Which can also be proof of birds being the closest thing to dinosaurs. Another thing that should be known is that apparently, their feet are like chainsaws and can literally "unzip" a person if they attack Chocked_2

My god, that looks disgusting. XD

Here, I found a picture of it attacking. Now that I think of it, it kinda has a bit of kangaroo in it too!
Australia is a weird place XD XD XD
