My mom has started in helping my future today. I'm going to go get my transcript tomorrow. For my would-be job as a computer repairman.

EDIT: Correction, it's for computer repair school this Fall

So I experienced dehydration for the first time yesterday, because I apparently thought it would be totally okay to go take tennis class (90 min), run to Herman Park (30 min), and play with my folks (45 min), ALL WITHOUT ANYTHING TO DRINK... Pretty stupid of me...

Anybody else run into a similar situation like this?

All the time. Golf isn't what you might call "invigorating" or "exercise," but it's 4 hours of walking outside in a dead heat. Many times I've bene out playing and gotten "dehydrated" to a certain extent. Usually when that happens, I just head to the clubhouse wherever I am on the course and grab a gatorade. Gotta stay hydrated.

Yeah, I tell myself that I won't need water for Martial Arts class sometimes, but those are usually the days when they work us hardest. The worst example was when I went to Brown and Black Belt Class, and, because there were no Brown Belt students, they made all of us Black Belts run 30 laps around the ball field outside in the heat, and I had no water! >_‹

Oh yeah, happens quite a bit to me too. I usually notice that when I see 3 golfballs instead of one when I go to hit them (er, it...)

My brother smallfry9730 ran into that same situation once (except it was 15 laps, not 30), and he had to go to the hospital for it on lap 11...

Eh, that does look like it felt good! I wish my parents would let me do that, but I'm homeschooled, and because of that, I have to keep a record of all my work. I just hope that no one ever has to look at it! Pinching_eyes

I despise fair-weather friends. I'd rather be around haters than fair-weather friends. I was around one today, a girl named Jessica who used to be my friend untill I saw how inconsiderate she was of my feelings. When I ran into her today, she said hi to me and asked if she could sit next to me in church. Reluctantly, I said okay. A few minutes later (for personal reasons, so don't ask) I started crying, and then she completely ditched me. I am never speaking to her again. This happened to me many times, and then my parents wonder why I am such a hermit. Oh please, do you not see all of the self-centered fair-weather friends out there?

Anyone here ever faced something like this?

Congratulations. I did that on my last day of school and dumped all of the unnecessary papers away. I had so much more than the other kids. I did it right in front of them, too!

Damn, it felt good...!

Happy Birthday! Grin You probably should have posted that in the birthday thread though. Tongue_out

I'm not sure what my vision is, I just know that I need glasses.

The main part of his post was that he is getting his eyes tested.. The birthday part was just an extra part to it.

So, I'm visiting my grandparents in West Virginia, when I see a raccoon. It's the first coon to come to the house...

So we've shot it and thrown it into the ditch down the road...

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Fantomu - Jun. 23, 2012

You shot the raccoon?! Why you little heartless creature. Raccoons are cute! Well, kind of.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tetsu - Jun. 23, 2012

Well, I was playing hide and seek with a couple of friends, I cheated...

Anyway as I was running a bunny just came out of no where, I punted it a couple of feet. I felt bad...then it almost bit me.

So..... I spent a lot of time with my new old school plastic skateboard, and its off the chain! Now I have 3 skateboards, two old school and one modern longboard. ATM, I'm trying to convince my mom to let me take my skateboard with me down to south carolina for the fourth. I mean, I can't live without it its like...my baby Q_Q

Not of they're breaking into your house and breaking all sorts of carp...

Then they raid your fridge and steal some clothes while you're sleeping... Speechless

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Fantomu - Jun. 23, 2012

Oh. I wonder what they do with the clothes though. Make parachutes?

Raccoons are also pestulent vermin with a knack for causing property damage and being a general nuisance. Peaceful methods of getting rid of them are available, but are obviously less likely to work as quick as ye olde scattergun.

I love the species, personally, but... pest animals are pest animals.

EDIT:

To be clear, DefStamina88 was not necessarily exaggerating. Raccoons really can break into homes(there have been several reports over the years of them turning doorknobs if they can reach them, and opening windows), and do tend to be able to get at food no matter where in the home it is located, save for being behind a pad lock or a latch/vacuumed door with suction stronger than 5-10lb. They tend to tear up clothes if they get into closets, and will just generally cause unadulterated mayhem if left unchecked.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Duck - Jun. 23, 2012

What about foxes? I know foxes are pests, but they are the third most beautiful creature alive in my book. First is wolves, then ducks, then foxes, then orca whales. I touched an orca whale before. I've also talked to ducks quite a bit.
