Soooooo, Theres supposed to be a severe thunderstorm here in Toronto.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Jun. 13, 2015

So right now I'm in a large race that lasts 12 hours. We have a team of six and we each run 5K's one after the other like a relay and see how far we can get in 12 hours. I've done one so far and went 22:13. Hopefully the heat doesn't take me over the edge considering I have at most five 5K's left ... by the end of the day I'll have 20+ miles .-.

Really though, this hurts and I need encouragement.

What kind of cheesy message is that sh-?

What I mean is, damn, that sounds really exhausting, but just remember, your legs move all the time so what's stopping them?

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Jun. 13, 2015

Exhaustion, pain, and nausea are stopping me ... lol. I'm two down ... 6.4 miles down ... A LOT to go.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Jinbee - Jun. 13, 2015

Well I wouldn't have been able to go on the WBO and run.

Same here.

No way I could run and post a long paragraph that makes no sense to anyone but myself! I have to sit down and think of words to use.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Jun. 13, 2015

It's a relay, therefore I have long breaks in between my races ... it's almost 3.2 miles/person on my relay team and there is six of us ...

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Jinbee - Jun. 13, 2015

Still I would probably get ready to run rather than write and miss the start and struggle to run.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Jun. 13, 2015

Bro its nearly 2 hours. You are supposed to rest and get calorie intake. I apologize for sharing what I'm doing. I have an idea of what to do correctly.

Update, I just finished my third 5K. That's almost 10 miles.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - MissingNo. - Jun. 13, 2015

Since I'm homeschooled, I don't have to make any kind of sport. This is a damn positive point.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Tri - Jun. 14, 2015

Okay after this I swear I'm done. My team in the race went a combined title of 101.6 miles and we are the first ever group of highschoolers to ever win the event. I'm so happy. Five 5000 meter runs and two 800 meter runs for me today. I hurt so much but it was well worth the experience.

Optional, yes. Peer pressure tho. Gotta take that into consideration.

On the side note I would do sports even in homeschool. I was homeschooled for 5+ years and the sports I did during that time are so useful now when I look back. Pick up something that you can get good at, and hone your skills. Homeschool is great for that kind of practice.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - MissingNo. - Jun. 14, 2015

I know that everybody have it own point of view about it, but for me, personnally, I think that sport is useless, and a waste of time.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Dual - Jun. 14, 2015

I don't see how one could possibly believe that. It keeps you fit, which keeps you healthy, teaches discipline, team sports promote clntadery and teamwork, et cetera. Just because you don't like it, does not mean it's useless. Not to mention it's a better alternative to watching TV or sitting around playing video games.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Jinbee - Jun. 14, 2015

Plus it keeps us away from bears...

Or if you don't want to feel like you melted into the sweaty couch.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - RDF3 - Jun. 14, 2015

How the heck does anyone find sport useless? It's got a lot of benefits from mundane (nice views, euphoria, whatever) to incredible (extended lung capacity, shaving off fats). Even a game nerd like me liked sport.
And Jinbee, don't try to outrun bears, they're incredibly fast.

Yo guys, ever heard of Krav Maga? It's a martial art.

Except Bearing Drive, they just sit there all day...

The running from bears thing I said before was a joke haha.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - MissingNo. - Jun. 14, 2015

Ya know, I always use Bearing Drive, that's why I don't make sports.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Jinbee - Jun. 14, 2015

You don't use Bearing Drive, you are the Bearing Drive, Phantom Orion M:N!

I know a few krav maga practitioners, its a great self defense style. Do you practice yourself?

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - RDF3 - Jun. 15, 2015

Jinbee: Jokes haha. But what I said is true: If you encounter a bear, don't run. Play dead.

yt152430: No, I don't right now. But I do plan to in the future.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - MissingNo. - Jun. 15, 2015

Don't worry about polar bears, here in Canada it's like a ferrari.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - 6 God - Jun. 16, 2015

Well, looks like I've gotten poison ivy. Me and a friend where hitting a tennis ball back and forth and landed in the bushes and I guess that's where I got it from. I'm covered in a lot of rashes everywhere except my chest and face(a little bit on my neck but now my face).

My feet, hands, and a little of my face is swollen. I can barely fit in my shoes and fingers ache...

The worst part I can't do anything for the next week or so without a shooting pain in the soles of my feet...
