What ended up happening is the coach wanted to make sure all the players got to play and he subbed players out a lot more than he should have. Especially subbing out the majority of the better players during the last few minutes which after all the subs in the last few minutes the other team scored and tied the game. Then we went into overtime and no one scored so it ended as a tie (no shoot outs in regular season just overtime). Sadly we didn't have practice today due to a lot of rain which is rough because although we can say the coach made bad subs at bad times we still have a lot to learn. Our forwards did pretty rough, one player had the ball but would always hesitate to shoot it and ended up always losing it despite the fact he is a good shooter. I was playing defense and knocked the ball right to him from near our goal allthe way down there and he had an open shot, but waited to long. The other forwards did alright (some better than others). It came down to us hitting post so much though which sucked. Finally our midfield will need a touch up, we don't have to many people who are used to being a midfielder so thats mainly why I wanted practice today. I'm not trying to sound biast because I played defense that game but everyone agreed most defenders played really well that game. The other team just quickly fogured out when the coach subbed in a weaker defense player and that's when they got their goals. Well we have another game tomorrow which is why missing practice was kinda rough today since we are going straight into another game with no practices, but we'll see how we do.
