And.. wouldent we want people to delete there "stupid or offensive" comments so that other users could not be exposed to it before a Mod could step it? I guess i don't really see the positive to being unable to delete your own post, and its honestly a little unsettling that i am not 100% in control of the content i create.

My current avatar is of the Killerken face as I'm hoping you can tell. But it's what I made it in tht I'm hoping some of you might find cool.

Hoping its olay to be allowed here haha. Why I made Killerken I have no idea considering its actually one of my least favorite zero g faces.

I believe this should be in the "Beyblade Random Thoughts" Thread... I think.
Nice work though XD

The reason is that someone could say something offensive, make a whole bunch of people mad, then delete it before a mod could step in and deny it ever existed. Without screenshots, there would be no real way to confirm it was ever there.
Also, I'm sure you could have a spambot programmed so it deletes its own posts when a mod logs on or tries to read the thread, then reposts once they leave.

I just recently heard about a fight at a high school between two guys about who gets to borrow a dollar. A teacher tried to break up the fight, but one of the guys shoved the teacher on the floor. Now that teacher is in the hospital. So, I then wonder, what high school is it? It's the one I'm going to...Of course.

Are there videos of it? That happens a lot at my school though.

If there is, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be allowed to be posted.

That's especially true when your school has rules against taking records of people without their consent

Something pretty terrible just happened to me, roughly around an hour ago.

I was just walking to my room, and tripped. Terrible, right?

Did you pay surgery ? If yes, your beyblade budget will get really really lower Smug
Just kidding, really sorry for you.

Did like a whole part chip off? I'm sure you can get a mold thing of it and get a replacement.

I still have half of that tooth in my mouth. I'll be getting a replacement, that's for sure.

I went to the dentist, and yes, I'll be getting some kind of surgery.

I'll most likely have half of a tooth at Toronto's GBT Qualifiers, but it'll probably be done by Grand Battle Prelude.

The exact thing happened to me in gym. Did a 360 ( was an exercise ) and I smashed my face into the gym floor. Chipped out my front teeth but turned out i broke it right before the nerve so it didn't hurt.
I don't really consider it surgery, but all they did was place a new "fake crown" over the teeth. They're replacing it later on since the ones I have now aren't very strong.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Kaneki - Apr. 19, 2014

So, I was wondering... Is anyone here an Otaku like me? I only know about two-three people who are right now.

Anyone... Hello...

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - The Supreme One - Apr. 19, 2014

I think most people here watch anime, but "otaku" is one of those terms that people don't usually throw around online lol

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Temporal - Apr. 19, 2014

Particularly because of the mishandled meaning of the word, IMO. I mean, it's a seriously negative thing from what I've read about Japan. The West tend to have a different connotation, where otaku culture is just liking anime and things from Japan, but I don't think it has such a benign connotation in Japan. THerefore, I avoid the term. I do like anime and manga quite a bit, however, and I read light novels fairly often. (I do believe the term "otaku" is often linked to "NEETs" in Japan. But the few articles I have read may have been wrong.)

That's just my limited knowledge on the matter.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - TakasuMouce - Apr. 19, 2014

I went to Dave and Busters with my boyfriend yesterday and I have to say that their service is pretty horrible xD

With around 15 people there, it took 30 minutes until we got the food we ordered, and they also forgot our drinks.

Has anyone else experienced such long wait times?

Anyways, after we finished, he and I just went to the arcade and I spend most of the night at the claw machine. Won 12 prizes :3

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Cake - Apr. 19, 2014

I've never heard of Dave and Buster's, but I've had a similar experience at Steak n' Shake; we came in, ordered, and waited over an hour before we actually got our food. There were maybe 20 people in the restaurant, too, which wasn't all that much. We even waited half an hour for just the drinks - and again, it wasn't all that busy.

No prizes though, just a crappy claw machine which closed only AFTER lifting halfway to the roof of the machine...

That claw is not even fair. It seems more of a broken claw than a rigged one xD

Sometimes I wonder why they take so long. Everyone else seems to get their food in time Tongue_out

Yeah, I'm one of those people who uses the world irl anyway because I do believe that it means something different in the west than it does in Japan, but I've found that a lot of people, mostly online, will get on your carp about calling yourself an "otaku," since it allegedly makes you sound ignorant of the Japanese connotation. I think it's just linked to a lot of sketchy incidents and groups of people, including NEETs, and anyone who really vocalizes being an "otaku" is looked down upon.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - OwnageDerp - Apr. 20, 2014

I hate my neighborhood. They always make a fireworkd contest on every holiday. New Years is is seizure time with mortars, St. Patrick's Day is bottle rockets everywhere, this Easter is whose crate of M-80s makes all of the car alarms go off, and 4th of July is a 28 hour version of everything I mentioned above, and it goes on way after the end of 4th of July. And it doesn't help that all of the cops and firefighters are patrolling the "recommended" shows.
Edit: Any of you have this problem?

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - Dual - Apr. 20, 2014

I live in a neighborhood of pretty much all old people, so it'd be pretty darn funny to see old people running around shooting fireworks.

It was designed to be like that so it wouldn't be easy to grab anything in there...

Besides, if you know how to "look" properly you'll get something you like XD

yes you are right.

RE: Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST - DRAGON KING - Apr. 20, 2014

Too me, machines with smaller claws (one with three "fingers") seem to have better force in holding it.
