Matchbox Twenty / Rob Thomas - Half Nail - Dec. 02, 2011

Just as with discovering that there was no Queen thread, my jaw hit the floor when I saw there was no thread for Matchbox 20.

So, talk about Matchbox 20 (or Rob Thomas) here. What are your favorite songs? Have you heard of them? What do you think of them?

I love almost all of their singles, namely "3AM", "When You're Gone", "These Hard Times", and especially "Unwell". It's very nostalgic for me and it's easily relatable. Ever feel like everyone's looking at you because you're strange and you feel you can't explain it to them? Listen to Unwell. As for Rob's singles, "Mockingbird", "Ever The Same", and "Lonely No More" are great.

To me Rob is a songwriting poet and Matchbox 20 will remain to be one of my favorite bands.

Yes these songs truly convey emotions several express. If only the bands who try to follow suit (like Nickleback) would just 'get it'.

We don't speak of that band...

Matchbox 20 is both ear candy and SOUL candy.
