Queen - Half Nail - Nov. 16, 2011

My jaw hit the floor when I discovered there was no thread for Queen.

Talk about why this band is probably the greatest thing that has graced human ears since the beginning of time. "Oh, well, that's your opinion." Yeah. It's my opinion that it's a fact the the above statement is true.

So, really, talk about your favorite songs from the band or anything about Queen.

I listen to Bohemian Rhapsody daily, but I recently discovered I Want to Break Free and I love it. Smile

Bicycle is my Favorite song. I like the beat, and the lyrics. Even though the lyrics are repetitive, they raise the tones, making it better. My second favorite is We will Rock you. Im pretty sure I don't need to explain that one. Overall, they are a great Rock n Roll band, but I prefer Heavy Metal.

RE: Queen - lord Wolfblade - Nov. 16, 2011

i have always loved Queen, for most of my life (thanks dad for getting me into classic rock).

i think the song "Show must go on" is just amazing. if you haven't heard it, watch it now! (there is a version with Elton John with Queen. so it is hard to find a Just Queen version) i cant really discribe it in my own words, so i shall just copy and past:
The song chronicles the effort of Freddie Mercury continuing to perform despite approaching the end of his life. Mercury was so ill and could barely walk when the band recorded the song in 1990, that May had concerns as to whether he was physically capable of singing it. Recalling Mercury's performance, May states; "he went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal"

other then "Show must go on", i love "somebody to love", "who wants to live forever", "under pressure" with david Bowie, and well, almost every other queen song i have heard

RE: Queen - Vulcan Blaze - Nov. 16, 2011

Queen is a great band. It is to bad that Freddy died. He was awesome. Anyways, I liked Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You!, and We Are The Champions.

Make your title more specific like "Queen The Best Band!". Somebody might think of something else and post about some other queen.

I don't know if any of you watch Glee, but I happened to see the Glee version of Bohemian Rhapsody while my sisters were watching. It was good, but obviously Queen was better.

RE: Queen - Giraton - Nov. 30, 2011

saw that last night, funny how they added gwen (i think thats the character's name) into it, but rather hear it without her.

RE: Queen - Annoying-Fork - Nov. 30, 2011

Me and my stepfather occasionally listen to Queen, however I need to find their best album so I can have some classic stuff in my collection.
