Heroes (Spoilers) - Tototototototo - Nov. 28, 2007 aww yeah. Discuss. Alejandro, noooooo Also, the Heroes to die next episode are probably Niki and Nathan. Nathan was supposed to be in one of the first groups of people killed by the virus according to the future episode. Niki, because she'll end up saving black-girl and die trying. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Crimson - Nov. 28, 2007 From the preview, Hiro gets the upper hand in the fight with Peter. (comes from behind and presses the blade to Peter's throat) I'm hoping Hiro wins, just because God-Modding Peter needs to go down... RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Nov. 28, 2007 Peter is so closed minded, he's trusting Adam too much. Stupid Peter. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Tototototototo - Nov. 28, 2007 Man, why is everyone this season such a jerk? Mohinder killed HRG, Parkman used Molly, Hiro stole Kensei's girl, Kensei wants to unleash a virus to kill the entire world (likely for himself), HRG shot Elle, Elle killed Irish Dude, man. Dicks. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - rooneyt - Nov. 28, 2007 i want hiro to kill peter but im going with that hiro will die because all he can do is stop time when peter have a lot of powers RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Nov. 28, 2007 So true, Toto. And you know, Sylar could possibly kill Molly. Hiro needs to stay alive, I'm sure they (as in the writers/editors) plan on creating a conflict between Adam and Hiro. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Tototototototo - Nov. 28, 2007 Hiro can do more than stop time, can't he? Didn't Mirai no Hiro give us a taste of what his powers can actually do? RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Nov. 28, 2007 http://heroeswiki.com/Powers#Space-time_manipulation He can practically do anything with time. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Tototototototo - Dec. 04, 2007 GARH SYLAR I HATE YOU EDIT: DAMN! Hiro is COLD BLOODED RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Dec. 04, 2007 lmao "I'm back " Hiro is really thoughtful . He's nice enough to let Adam live. I think that's being considerate[/sarcasm] Glad Hiro didn't die, and I don't think Nathan died permanently either. Claire =D RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - rooneyt - Dec. 04, 2007 can someone pls post what happaned this week i was at an islanders game RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Dec. 04, 2007 I'm pretty sure Toto already saw it (looking at his post) so: Minor events that lead up to Adam, Hiro, Peter, Nathan, and.........(forgot =X) the policeman who can read minds, all at PrimaTech or whatever the name was. Nikki dies saving that Monica girl (is that her name?) That devil lady gets shot, then revived, and Sylar gets his powers back. Hiro traps Adam under the ground, near his father's grave, and Peter saves the world by stopping the virus that Adam dropped, from dropping. Nathan gets shot while making a speech, and ta da!.............Season ends. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - rooneyt - Dec. 04, 2007 Elmo Wrote:I'm pretty sure Toto already saw it (looking at his post) so:thanks you RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Dec. 04, 2007 urs welcum RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Crimson - Dec. 04, 2007 Now I'm really wondering who shot Nathan. Ma Petrelli mentioning how they opened Pandora's Box.. interesting. Also, <3 Hiro. Sticking Adam underground.. genius. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Dec. 04, 2007 I thought it was Sylar at first (who shot Nathan) but that doesn't seem logical. It could be (and probably is) one of the original heroes. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Crimson - Dec. 04, 2007 My friend just mentioned his theory and it made me feel like an idiot for not thinking about it. NOAH SHOT NATHAN. 'Cause he didn't want Claire to tell anyone about their powers, so he obviously wouldn't want Nathan to go spouting it off. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Dec. 04, 2007 That............really makes sense . But I do somehow doubt how Noah found out so quickly. Nathan was only about a minute into the speech............. Wondering if there's another guy who can bend time and space like Hiro. I don't think his dad could............. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Vulcan - Dec. 05, 2007 I thought the finale was lame. I was happy when Maya died only to find out that they could just bring her back to life. She is the worst hero ever. Couldn't care less if Niki is really dead. Nathan was just starting to be interesting, but it isn't a huge loss losing him. Nothing really interesting happened. They saved the world from a deadly virus that would destroy the world. Big deal. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Elmo - Dec. 05, 2007 I have the same feelings. The finale could've been a lot better. I think that's being considerate[/sarcasm] Sorry for reviving a practically dead topic but, I just wanted to point out that Adam can not possibly "die" by any known conventional means. Neither can Claire, Peter, Sylar, or any other person with regenerative capabilities. They've yet to discover a way to kill someone with this power, and if history repeats itself, they never will =P Trapping Adam in a coffin was the only logical solution Hiro could come up with, and goddamn it if it ain't a good one! EDIT: Refer to later post. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Doompenguin - Sep. 30, 2008 I thought they established that, just like the immortals in Highlander, and zombies, you gotta go for the head in order to kill a regenerator. Now, I don't know if it's as simple as just shooting them in the head, or if you definitely have to impale their skull and leave the object in. And on that note, how are you guys liking the new season? I don't know what to think just yet. On the one hand, I do like how they've increased the action a bit, and the twists and turns are certainly there. However, it just seems to be lacking a certain something that the first season had. Also, the whole "clairvoyant and/or time traveler discovers that the future sucks, thus everybody spends the entire season trying to either cause it or prevent it" thing is starting to get really old. RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Tototototototo - Oct. 01, 2008 This season has been SO GOOD. Like, SO FREAKING GOOD. OH MY GOD I LOVE HEROES. I hope Ando doesn't really become a carp. Also, Mohinder's turning into Spiderman? RE: Heroes (Spoilers) - Doompenguin - Oct. 01, 2008 (Oct. 01, 2008 5:45 AM)Mr. Toto Wrote: This season has been SO GOOD. Like, SO FREAKING GOOD. OH MY GOD I LOVE HEROES. My speculation is that he's turning into a human cockroach. Just because, they mention and show cockroaches in the show as having a symbolic meaning for evolution. And Mohinder did argue in one of his lectures that cockroaches were the pinnacle of evolution, not man. Now, I don't know if it's as simple as just shooting them in the head, or if you definitely have to impale their skull and leave the object in. Such was the case with Claire on the autopsy table and Peter prior to his radioactive explosion. However, is it right to officially declare them "dead", or rather in stasis? Regenerators retain the ability to recover from damn near anything, no matter how severe it may be. Methinks "death" just isn't an option for these guys... EDIT: As Future Peter was recently killed in "I Am Become Death", it may be possible that overexposure to the Haitian's ability nullifies the regenerative ability long enough to keep them dead. It might also involve removal of the adrenaline gland, prohibiting the person from using their powers. I absolutely agree. They've also left a lot of the character's development open-ended for seemingly nonsensical reasons. The ambiguity behind Niki Sanders' and Tracy Strauss' origination is an odd way to kick off the season... Sure it leaves a ton of room for speculation and inevitable twists, but it also adds to the list of "Frustrating Background Stories", made popular by shows like Lost (oh my God...) It's definitely too early to start making any rash judgments. I like the way the plot is unfolding thus far, but just as you said, it feels very different from season one... EDIT: I loved episode 4... I have a LOT of faith in this season, as well as season four when it comes around in '09. |
