Something I've always wondered is what the blades were made out of in the show (haven't read the manga). In the dub, Kane says that King & Queen turned his blade into nothing but "scrap metal", so that's what reminded me of asking this. The sounds from the battles also don't sound like plain old plastic bumping together.

The Beyblades in the show and in the manga are exactly the Beyblades in real life. The anime and the manga are only advertisements of the toys.
