How about an Art War? [16/16 participants] - Deikailo - Aug. 23, 2011
Round 1 Theme: You vs. Ginga! Deadline is August 31th, EST!
Okay, so I've seen writing battles and graphics battles, but no art battles. It would be awesome to see an art war. I say "war" over "battle" because art is more than just drawing. It can be sculpting, photography, painting, photo manipulation, poetry, short stories, sprities etc.
I would totally like to see it as an "open format" war. Pick a theme, choose your medium, and then let the warriors have at it.
In each round, there will be a set theme. All participants will have to use their artistic creativity to best represent that theme in the medium of their choosing. This will not be a one on one battle, but rather, the top half of the participants will advance. The window for voting will be one week. In the event of a tie for fourth and fifth place, both will be eliminated. 16 participant limit!

photo manupilating goes to gfx battle
there are a lot of arts(it DOES NOT include art of farting), and some are already made for a specific kind. you should consider that. How about a drawing battle?

You can use any medium. Art is more than drawing. It's writing, film, photography, sculpting, carving, acting, painting, speeches, writing, image manipulation, animation, drawing, fashion, AMVs, music, etc.
It can be ANYTHING that you can create.

Whatever you feel like doing. Although, you should select it based on the theme. I'll keep changing the theme to give every medium an advantage/disadvantage at some point.
