So I was watching episode 19 of the dubbed Beyblade Metal Master series and I noticed Demures voice was a bit funny... I assumed "well hey... maybe they dubbed her voice to be a dowdy tomboy-ish sound" and I continued to watch... Then I noticed someone refer to her as "him" and now I'm rather confused...
WHY WOULD NELVANA CHANGE DEMURES GENDER!!!

Hm, I never had any idea what gender Damle was really supposed to have even in Japanese, but if they refer to 'him' as "him", then at least I have an answer to go by now. Whenever I asked what gender he/she had, nobody even answered me, so I think it was simply really ambiguous until now with the dub, no one really thought Damle was a female for sure.
