BB-108 L-Drago Destroy F:S Draft - Finished! - BeybladeStation - Aug. 13, 2011

Quote:Face: L-Drago III
This mark features a more complete form of L Drago, while also showing a more aggressive design. "L Drago" isn't written anymore, and, instead, the rest of the dragon's neck is shown as well as its left hand, its right arm and its right shoulder.
4D Metal Wheel: L-Drago Destroy
-Weight: 44.29 Grams
This Metal Wheel is made up of two parts; a Core and a Metal Frame. Unlike other 4D Metal Wheels, the Core is made of rubber/plastic and sits below–rather than above–the Metal Frame, which comprises the bulk of the Metal Wheel.
--Metal Frame
The Metal Frame is the largest part of the Metal Wheel and therefore makes the most contact with opposing Beyblades. Like previous L Drago Wheels, the three-sided Metal Frame is shaped to resemble three dragon heads. It is much wider, has larger gaps between each head, and is significantly heavier than each of the former L Drago Wheels, many of which were notorious for their extremely light weight.
--Core
The Core is made of PC plastic as well as PVC rubber, continuing the trend started with Meteo L Drago. It is comprised of six protrusions which act as the "teeth" for the dragon heads; all six contain rubber, but only three expose rubber in an area where it can easily make contact with the opposing Beyblade, while the other three expose plastic. The rubber protrusions can assist in spin stealing from right spin Beyblades.
Like all 4D Metal Wheels, L-Drago Destroy features a mode changing gimmick. It works by rotating the Metal Frame while the Beyblade is disassembled. The two Modes are:
----
*'''Attack Mode''':
In this mode, the rubber protrusions on the Core are aligned with the front of the "dragon heads" on the Metal Frame.
*'''Absorb Mode''':
In this mode, the Core is rotated 180° so that the plastic protrusions on the Core are aligned with the front of the "dragon heads" of the Metal Frame.
----
Attack Mode is widely considered to be superior to Absorb Mode for Smash Attack. The rubber protrusions on the Core are covered for the most part by the dragon heads while in Absorb Mode, allowing for the plastic protrusions to make the bulk of the contact in combination with the Metal Frame. In Attack Mode, L-Drago Destroy can be considered an upgrade to the popular Lightning L-Drago, but it has since been outclassed for general use by Wheels like Blitz and VariAres.
Use in Attack Customization
------------------------------------
Though it has less pure Smash Attack power than Wheels like Blitz and VariAres, what L Drago Destroy does have is less recoil. This can make it a somewhat more reliable choice to play against Stamina customizations, which do not necessarily require the huge amount of brute force to be KOed found in Blitz and VariAres. The customization MF L-Drago Destroy BD145MF can be used for this purpose; the reliability of L-Drago Destroy and the controllability of MF combine to make a usable Smash Attacker versus lightweight and tall-Track Stamina customs.
Bottom: Final Survive
-Weight: 5.73 Grams
F:S is a completely automatic bottom, switching between "Hole Flat" and "Sharp" tips as its spin velocity lowers. The HF tip, which is slightly wider than the regular HF Bottom has trouble maintaining a Sliding Shoot pattern, and the change between tips causes a disruption in the Beyblade’s balance, especially given the notorious balance issues of Sharp Bottoms. This Bottom therefore has absolutely no use competitively.

Overall
The L-Drago series is known for having powerful Attack, and L-Drago Destroy lives up to this aspect, being commonly regarded as superior to Lightning L-Drago due to its increased weight, attack range, and more prominently exposed wings. L-Drago Destroy does not Spin Steal as well as Meteo L-Drago, so the latter should be used for a Spin Stealing combo. F:S is useless competitively, but L-Drago Destroy can be used in specific situations. L-Drago Destroy F:S is not a must-have, but it is nevertheless a welcome addition to any collection.

BBS's Draft.
Face: L-Drago
The Face on this Beyblade depicts a Dragon, Draco, one of the 88 constellations in space. This is the most current L-Drago Face, being the third of its type.
4D Metal Wheel: L-Drago Destroy
-Weight: 44.29 Grams
Unlike any other Metal Wheel, L-Drago Destroy is structured of both the Metal Frame and Core, these two combine to make one Metal Wheel. This intriguing design can be simplified by the Core. With being the Metal Wheel composed of both the Metal Frame and Core, the Metal Frame is placed on the top; it is taking place of what would have been a Clear Wheel; and visa-versa the Core is substituted for a Metal Wheel's original placement, the bottom. Being unique in many ways, it is most recognized that L Drago Destroy is built quite similar to the earlier Beyblades; that is those that were in the L-Drago series. As the design continues, the Metal Frame is houses three Dragon heads, these being potential protrusions adding to Smash Attack. Due to its immense width, there are large and deep gaps, these gaps and patterns form the protrusions of the L-Drago heads. Due to its width, Smash Attack potential, and structure, L-Drago Destroy is considered a great Metal Wheel in the use of attack.
Use in Attack Customization
------------------------------------
With great Smash Attack and width, L-Drago Destroy is producing impressive results in the combination MF L-Drago Destroy D125RF and MF L-Drago Destroy 85RF. It also works well with great speed and smash, MF L-Drago Destroy CH120XF.
L-Drago Destroy's Metal Frame
-Weight: 38.45 Grams
L-Drago Destroy can only be used with its Core, this is because L-Drago Destroy has no Clear Wheel and must be set upon the Core. This Frame is characterized by its mid-weight, but high Smash Attack. Its three-headed dragon design resembles the previous L-Drago Clear Wheels. It is presented with the three churning dragon heads, but this time they are greater in size. Between each dragon head, there is a noticeable space which creates a curve; this curve adds to the potential Smash Attack that L-Drago Destroy has. With its three wide protrusions, it has powerful Smash Attack.
Similar to the earlier L-Drago Beyblades, L-Drago Destroy is no exception for Mode Change. Such as to Lightning L-Drago, L-Drago Destroy can be flipped, or the Core. It can easily be rotated a full 180 Degrees to switch modes from either ‘Attack Mode’ or ‘Absorb Mode’. It is able to, with its great amount of width; push out heavy opponents because of potential Smash Attack when in Attack Mode. Therefore, it can push around top-tier Defense customizations with some ease.
Of the two available modes, though, it is widely considered and accepted that the ‘Attack Mode’ is superior to the lesser 'Absorb Mode'. Due to a small amount of recoil, it is easy for L-Drago Destroy to keep down with a Metal Flat (MF) and Rubber Flat (RF). If it is customized efficiently, it can be quite aggressive and effective against top-tier Defense customizations.
Core
-Weight: 5.84 Grams
The Core is a part essential for mode change for this Beyblade. Made of polycarbonate material, it is not very light. It is only compatible with the L-Drago Destroy Metal Frame. The Core can add on to L-Drago Destroy’s Attack and Spin Equalization. By rotating it 180 Degrees, it can change from ‘Attack Mode’, to ‘Absorb Mode’. Attack Mode was designed for shock absorbing and attacking, seeing that the core is it not light. This mode is in use when plastic is protruding. Absorb Mode is for Spin Equalizing, for it is in place when the rubber is protruding.
The Cores's protrusions lay beneath the dragon's heads when in Absorb Mode. This layering allows the rubber on the side of the Core to reach out, and therefore start a chain of spin-stealing or equalizing. But because the Metal Frame is on top, there will be much less prominent spin-stealing because the Metal Frame is much more exposed than the Core, unlike the previous Meteo L-Drago's reverse engineering.
There are many obstructions that are able to help out because of the Core; of these are the three rubber and polycarbonate protrusions. The rubber protrusions increase versatility for spin stealing or equalization, while the polycarbonate sides do the opposite, oppose spin. In Absorb Mode, the Core is much more evidently shown because the protrusion is larger compared to that of Attack Mode's. This part is only exchangeable with its homing Metal Frame.
As with the Metal Frame, the Core can also be flipped to change between 'Absorb' Mode and 'Attack' Mode.
Bottom: Final Survive
-Weight: 5.73 Grams
Final Survive, or F:S, is a completely automatic bottom. Just like other 4D Bottom, F:S also has a dynamic change; Attack to Stamina. Determining high-speed velocity to low speed velocity, it can change modes from Hole Flat (HF), to a more Stamina based operation, Sharp (S). When at a low-spin rate, F will change from HF to S, to preserve Stamina. The slots on the side of F:S are able to retract to activate mode change. However, the change between causes a disruption in the Beyblade’s balance. Therefore, the change between HF and S is more negligible than it is useful.
In some cases, many believe to see that F:S is the complete opposite of Final Drive, or F:D. In L-Drago Destroy's mechanism, there is a big difference. The Sharp (S) tip is pushed out, rather in F:D where the Semi-Flat (SF) is pushed in. Because of F:S's odd engineering, there is a balance loss and could led ultimately to some thinking that F:S is not anything edgy.
Even though it would seem as if the sharp would help preserve Stamina, there is too much of a balance loss for any benefit.

L-Drago Destroy DF105LRF Gold Armored Ver. – WBBA Exclusive (Gold)
Overall
-Weight: 50 Grams
L-Drago Destroy F:S is very useful when Attacking. The Metal Wheel and Frame’s weight and Smash Attack allow it to move opposing Beyblades around with ease. The Core able to both absorb shock and aid attack. While F:S is deemed useless, the other parts make up for this Beyblade. Every blader should at least own one of this Beyblade.[/b]
Shabala's Draft
Face: L Drago
The Face on this Beyblade depicts a Dragon, Draco, one of the 88 constellations in space. This version of the L Drago Face is the third, and has a slightly more complex design than it's predecessors.
4D Metal Wheel: L Drago Destroy
Weight: 44.18 grams
The L Drago Destroy 4D Metal Wheel is composed of a Metal Frame and a Core, and because of this divided Metal Wheel, L Drago Destroy has no Clear Wheel. The Metal Frame goes on the top and takes the place of where the L Drago Clear Wheel would normally be, while the Core goes on the bottom and takes the place of where the Metal Wheel would normally be. L Drago Destroy is shaped similarly to the previous Beyblades in the L Drago series; it is shaped as three Dragon heads, but is much wider, has large gaps between each head, and is significantly heavier than each of the former L Drago Beyblades. The L Drago series is known for having ferocious Attack, and in many opinions, L Drago Destroy's Attack exceeds that of Lightning L Drago.
L Drago Destroy has two modes, which can be switched between exactly like Lightning L Drago and Meteo L Drago. By disassembling the Face and Metal Wheel, and rotating the Metal Frame, you can choose between "Attack Mode" and "Absorb Mode". Attack Mode is when plastic on the Core is visible amidst each Dragon head on the Metal Frame, and Absorb Mode is when Rubber on the Core is visible amidst each Dragon head on the Metal Frame. Like the L Drago II Clear Wheel, L Drago Destroy is capable of stealing and equalizing spin speed, except to a lesser extent. The word "L Drago" in the name "L Drago Destroy" is at the beginning, as opposed to the end as it usually is, because of the lack of a Clear Wheel and the Metal Frame being on top and Core being on the bottom.
Use in Attack Customization
The difference in performance between the two modes is not huge, but most consider Attack Mode to be superior in terms of Attacking power. BD145 is almost identical in size to L Drago Destroy, which makes MF L Drago Destroy BD145LRF a solid, reliable Customization that has found its place among the top Metal Fight Beyblade Attackers, along with another favorite of many; MF L Drago Destroy CH120RF.
Metal Frame
Weight: 38.45 grams
The Metal Frame of L Drago Destroy makes up most of the Metal Wheel's weight. It is a darker shade of gray than other Metal parts in Beyblade, and it's design is of three long Dragon heads, each of which have an identical flame design on them. It sits on top of the Core, and provides most of the Smash Attack for L Drago Destroy. This Metal Frame is only compatible with the Core of this 4D Metal Wheel.
Core
Weight: 5.73 grams
The Core of L Drago Destroy is made of Polycarbonate plastic and is therefore very light. This light weight is not detrimental to this Metal Wheel because of the heavy weight of the Metal Frame, and that it allows for a Mode Change, as described in the L Drago Destroy Section. On this Core are six protrusions that alternate PC plastic and PVC rubber, equaling 3 plastic protrusions and 3 rubber protrusions. The Core only sticks out past the Metal Frame between the three Dragons, so most contact is made with the Metal Frame. This reduces the spin stealing ability this Beyblade has, but it is still evident. This Core is only compatible with the Metal Frame of this 4D Metal Wheel.
4D Bottom: Final Survive
Weight: 5.73 grams
Being the second 4D Bottom released, F has the gimmick of a dynamic Mode Change. It works similar to F from Big Bang Pegasis, where there are two tabs near the top that extend and retract depending on the spin speed of the Beyblade. The tabs extend when there is a high spin speed, and retract when there is a low spin speed. This allows for two Bottoms to be used in one battle, in this case starting with Hole Flat and ending with Sharp.
Where F and F differ however, is how the Bottoms are switched, and what Bottoms are switched between. Fstarts a battle with the inner Bottom (Semi Flat) extending, and ends the battle with the outer Bottom (Rubber Flat) extending; whereas F starts a battle with the outer Bottom (Hole Flat) extending, and ends the battle with the inner Bottom (Sharp) extending. This makes F go from an Attacking pattern to a non moving Stamina Bottom, in an attempt at an outspin.
The added Stamina from F' Mode Change would seem like an advantage, but the unbalanced nature of the Sharp series and the mediocre Attack of Hole Flat make F a useless part, more so than using each Bottom individually. The HF on F is wider than a normal HF, and cannot sustain a flower pattern from the Sliding Shoot technique; and the switch from HF to S causes imbalances that result in the Beyblade scraping the floor of the Beystadium.

L Drago Destroy DF105LRF Gold Armoured Ver. - WBBA Exclusive (Gold)
Overall
Being the fourth installment to the L Drago series, L Drago Destroy has a lot to live up to. It exceeds expectations in this aspect because of it's proficient Smash Attack. The 4D Bottom F is a let down, but is still a unique and inventive gimmick nonetheless. All Attack Bladers should get their hands on what many consider the Lightning L Drago upgrade, L Drago Destroy.
Blend Dan made.
4D Metal Wheel: L-Drago Destroy
-Weight: 44.29 Grams
Unlike any other Metal Wheel, L-Drago Destroy is structured of both the Metal Frame and Core, these two combine to make one Metal Wheel. Due to its width and large gaps, and structure, L-Drago Destroy is considered as an effective Smash Attacker.
L Drago Destroy has two modes, which can be switched between exactly like Lightning L Drago and Meteo L Drago: by disassembling the Face and Metal Wheel and rotating the Metal Frame you can choose between "Attack Mode" and "Absorb Mode". Attack Mode is when plastic on the Core is visible amidst each Dragonhead on the Metal Frame, and Absorb Mode is when Rubber on the Core is visible amidst each Dragonhead on the Metal Frame. Like the L Drago II Clear Wheel, L Drago Destroy is capable of equalizing rotations between itself and the opposing bey which must be in the opposite spin-direction, but to a lesser extant than that of Meteo LDrago. The word "L Drago" in the name "L Drago Destroy" is at the beginning, as opposed to the end as it usually is, because of the lack of a Clear Wheel and the Metal Frame being on top and Core being on the bottom which is the first release to ever reverse those roles.
Use in Attack Customization
The difference in performance between the two modes is not huge, but most consider Attack Mode to be superior in terms of Attacking power. BD145 is almost identical in size to L Drago Destroy, which makes MF L Drago Destroy BD145LRF a solid, reliable Customization that has found its place among the top Metal Fight Beyblade Attackers, and it also works well in the combination, MF L-Drago Destroy CH120XF which provides proficient smash attack with an equal amount of equalization as its notorious predecessor Meteo LDrago, which allows this combination to thrive against Stamina and Defense beyblades.
L-Drago Destroy's Metal Frame
-Weight: 38.45 Grams
The Metal Frame of L Drago Destroy makes up most of the Metal Wheel's weight and is characterized by its efficient smash attack. It is a darker shade of gray than other Metal parts in Beyblade, and its design is of three long Dragonheads, each of which has an identical flame design on them.
Core
-Weight: 5.84 Grams
The Core of L Drago Destroy is made of Polycarbonate plastic and is therefore very light. This light weight is not detrimental to the beyblade as its metal wheel more than compensates. The Cores protrusions lay beneath the dragon's heads when in Absorb Mode.
On this Core there are six protrusions that alternate PC plastic and PVC rubber, equaling 3 plastic protrusions and 3 rubber protrusions. The Core only sticks out past the Metal Frame between the three Dragons, so most contact is made with the Metal Frame as intended with all Metal Fight Beyblades. This layering allows the rubber on the side of the Core to reach out, though infrequently, and start a chain of equalization between the opponent beyblade and itself. This design is the polar opposite of the previous LDrago installment, Meteo LDrago, which has a completely rubber clear wheel which is the predominant force of equalization for that beyblade.
Bottom: Final Survive
-Weight: 5.73 Grams
Being the second 4D Bottom released, F:S has the gimmick of a dynamic Mode Change. It works similar to Big Bang Pegasis’ F:D bottom, where there are two tabs near the top that extend and retract depending on the spin speed of the Beyblade. When at a low spin rate, F will change from HF to S, to preserve Stamina. The slots on the side of F:S are able to retract to activate mode change. However, the change between causes a disruption in the Beyblade’s balance. Therefore, the change between HF and S is more negligible than it is useful. Though this allows for two Bottoms to be used in one battle, in this case starting with Hole Flat and ending with Sharp, which can be considered somewhat useful due to its versatility.

It should be:

Don't forget that there is rubber inside the core.

Tenshou Yoku, you mistakes yourself in the edits. I will go over that as well.
Your last two edits were essentially wrong, the first is fine how it is...
The second, it isn't using more energy, therefore it couldn't just have more spin when there is essentially little spin.

Quote:Metal Wheel/Frame: L-Drago Destroy
L-Drago Destroy is characterized by its light weight and high Smash Attack. Its three-headed dragon design resembles the previous L-Drago Clear Wheels. Due to its three wide protrusions, L-Drago Destroy is capable of a powerful Smash Attack. It can be rotated 180 degrees to switch from either ‘Attack Mode’ or ‘Absorb Mode.’ Due to L-Drago Destroy’s large width, it can push out heavy opponents, combined with its Smash Attack in ‘Attack Mode.’ This makes it a powerful Attack Customization, able to push top-tier Defense Beyblades around the stadium.
‘Attack Mode’ is shown to be superior to ‘Absorb Mode.’ L-Drago Destroy has a small amount of recoil, allowing it to keep down with an RF or MF. This Metal Frame is only compatible with the PC and PVC Frame, and vice versa. When customized effectively, L-Drago Destroy can become a powerful Attack Beyblade.
Reworded, had some grammatical errors.

Quote:Bottom: Final Survive
Final Survive, or F, is an automatic Bottom. Determining high-speed velocity to low-speed velocity, it can change modes from HF to S. When F moves at a high spin rate, it will become HF. Therefore, the change between HF and S is more negligible than it is useful.
