RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - H8R - Sep. 17, 2011

I swear that is so weird it had such a low spin time(in comparison to the official video) even with a rev up launcher!

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - Kujikato - Sep. 17, 2011

I think there will be minute molds of B: D like there is w/ Hell and Virgo.

oh ... well still it is quite weird does anyone in japan have it yet besides the ones that are already known...

So far only AkirasDaddy and japanlinked have it and good news, japanlinked is back!

If you guys, don't like the color you could get the WBBA Phantom Orion BGrin and Big Bang Pegasis FGrin Parts set,
where it'll shurely be recolored.
As for Phantom, I think it'll perform like Burn but with more recoil but I don't know how those ''teeth'' are going to effect Phantom's performance.
@ Akylus: Your right! If this does turn out great, then people will just forget about the color,[Or they won't and try harder to get the Skeleton Ver.]

Edit; BGrin ,Orion and Phantom isn't in the WBBA Parts set nor is Big Bang Pegasis

Phantom Orion v/s Jade Jupiter.
This video belongs to Akirasdaddy.

I just watched the video of Phantom Orion vs Jade Jupiter. It seems pretty good.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - BeybladeStation - Sep. 17, 2011

What I see quite compelling here is that there is such a great stance with B:D. It is as if it can just adjust to much of any shot. Therefore, I can put faith into the Metal Shaft that is really shifting the balance.

But out of all, I also like B:D's color, the official TAKARA-TOMY pictures made it look unclear.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - Kai-V - Sep. 17, 2011

Of course a Stamina type will win against a rubber-tipped Defense type. That was not really relevant.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - Imperial - Sep. 17, 2011

What I find weird is that the box has the ugly pink opaque clear wheel on it while the real bey has a cool purplish black one. Has there been any other instances like this?

That's classic bearing core. If this were more aggressive, I'd put it on Blitz or something and slide shoot it at crazy angles to try and hit the opponent's tip.

that sounds brilliant!
I would try that right now if I had B:D

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - BeybladeStation - Sep. 17, 2011

On a low track such as 90? 85?

Sure, that makes sense, but the Metal Wheel is what mostly needs to get hit into..

Enjoy the targeted Bey skipping and damaging your CW rather severely for the sake of a novelty KO, or your wheel just plum scraping to the point of spinning all of its velocity out in a circle.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - BeybladeStation - Sep. 17, 2011

B:D breakage problems was a huge looked issue, some pages back.

Honestly, I am quite wondeing on how a low tracked Lightning or Blitz would tear up B:D. But obviously, as Hazel mentioned before, TAKARA-TOMY knows how to design their products; therefore alone that should not be a problem.

I'm not quite sure what it is, but is there that much recoil in the Phantom Wheel? Or is it just B:D and it's 'friction-less (or low)' effect?

B:D on a track..? It's a 4D bottom...

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - BeybladeStation - Sep. 17, 2011

I was referring to Blitz, if it was on low, as Hazel mentioned, you would just be severely damaging it for a KO.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - Sasodo - Sep. 17, 2011

I believe that putting Scythe on there would better the Bearing Drive or put Bull/Kerbecs/Aquario and a metal face would help it. I'm not speculating, I mean Orion isn't a very heavy clear wheel so of course even with Phantom, the low friction from the TIP of Bearing Drive has a POINT on it so there isn't much friction.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - BeybladeStation - Sep. 17, 2011

Not heavy? 3.0 Grams isn't light either.. Sorry for any misunderstanding on my part.

I get where you are going then, but versing Scythe w/ BGrin against something as versatile as Lightning, there could be so much less friction.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - Sasodo - Sep. 17, 2011

But don't forget about the what the PC Frame on Scythe does, it equalizes spin plus with a metal face, it might work.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - Whatzzer - Sep. 17, 2011

BeybladeStation:I think from how it performs,Phantom will have less recoil. It's just BGrin, man.Adding MF-H to BGrin based combos might help adding the friction, making the combo less-recoil.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - Sasodo - Sep. 17, 2011

Thank you for adding to what I posted Whatzzer. I can't wait to get this and Scythe Kronos to make the combo: MF-H Scythe Kronos BGrin.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - BeybladeStation - Sep. 17, 2011

That is true, but too much weight, causes less friction sometimes. Take a MF-H Basalt Bull BD145WD.

You will see it still somehow attacking. That is because there is opposing pressure, gravity, for it to 'slip' around the stadium. Too less weight will stay in one place, therefore in a relative thinking, you can see that an MF-H will not add too much. As the Fang Leone video suggests, there is a push back with Phantom.

NOTE: I did not mean to speculate at all, was basing off of the Fang Leone video.

RE: BB-118 Phantom Orion B:D - Sasodo - Sep. 17, 2011

Remember what you said about adding Scythe? The combo I said might be good against some beys but we need someone OFFICIAL to test it because I don't have the proper stadiums to test it in so I hope someone will test it.
