There is no interaction at all between the two characters in the second entry, there does not seem to be any real background, and the choice of black and white might not have been the best. Therefore, I vote for the first entry.

Although entry one is a bit contrasted for my liking, it has better flow, and illustrates the theme better, I think. So entry one for me.

What I didn't like about number 2 is that batman was a real life photo, but joker was cartoon photo.
Number 1 has a struggle between the two sides. Number 2 has plain photo's that don't interact.

i vote for entry one it looks nice and i personnaly like spiderman and colour sigs and the text placement is good too both venom and spide r in comic format and has better flow.

Although i am not a big batman fan i have to say entry 2 looks more like a sig , but as kai-v said there is no interaction between the characters & it kinda feels like a banner , on the other hand entry 1 has My Fav , Spiderman & has awesome colors , it too kinda feels like a cropped wallpaper because the borders are not handled properly & due to it's text placement , but still i love it very much

I vote Entry 1 because it is colorful, has the good and evil fighting, but the colors of the two people kinda mix in with the background making them hard to see.
