RE: Vari Ares Discussion - RustyXD - Sep. 09, 2011

No offense but Basalt 230CS is easy to KO with a 145 height attacker. Try it against BD145.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeyCenter - Sep. 10, 2011

I honestly think 230 is for Stamina only, it does serve its defense purposes. I find TH170 a better choice because it has a thick barrier around the core of the track. Anyway, I know this isn't a great track for attack, but could someone try MF-H VariAres UW145LRF. I have a hunch, but it may be wrong, very wrong, but I believe its worth a try. Also, if you can try it against MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145 RS/MB/RB. Thanks in advance if anyone does.

and erm, can someone test out that combo for me.

Thanks

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - RustyXD - Sep. 10, 2011

No offense but Basalt Kerbecs 230EDS is very easy to KO , with anything above CH120.

BeyCenter I don't think many people will use LRF since its a very expensive bottom , but I think that combo would be good.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Sep. 10, 2011

Yes, I do too. I have faith in UW145 judging by my previous threads.
Im sure I have posted results somewhere...

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Tyler Le - Sep. 11, 2011

Ok So i might test but using RF on left spin and R2f on fight spin is that ok? Too treasure LFR to use
And also what mode is UW145? Attack or Defense

Left-Spin CH120's can kill Basalt 230 easily.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Sep. 11, 2011

VariAres AD145MF VS Blitz Unicorno GB145RF (Near Mint)
VariAres: 0 Wins
Blitz: 20 Wins (20 KO)

Blitz is EPIC!

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Sep. 11, 2011

AD145MF? Obviously so...

If anything, do R145MF if not BD145RF in any case, as well with CH120RF. Also, I will be putting up a good amount of testings with BD145.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - KCPJ - Sep. 11, 2011

MF?Wouldn't it be knocked out easily with its recoil.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - H8R - Sep. 12, 2011

shadowscythe if you have two mint RF's use those for blitz and Vari

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Benjohadi - Sep. 12, 2011

Benjohadi and peace testing..
MF-H Vari Ares GB145 R2F (left spin) VS. MF-H Basalt Horogium BD145 CS
Vari - Sliding shoot (we find the pattern of the R2F for sliding shot is more favourable)
Vari Ares (13/20) win by K.O.
Basalt (7/20) win by 1 Outspin and 6 Vari self K.O (SUCKS vari went out commit suicide)
Vari Ares winning percentage (65%)

MF-H Vari Ares GB145 R2F (left spin) VS. MF-H Basalt Horogium BD145 RS
Vari - Sliding shoot (same like above)
Vari Ares (9/20) win by K.O.
Basalt Horogium (11/20) win by O.S. And K.O (cant remember howmuch were O.S or K.O)
Vari Ares winning percentage (45%)

both are launched at 100%

wow seems VariAres is actually a OHKO wheel!
Blitz seems to do better against pure defense(RS,RB,RSF)
although Blitz also destroys CS and MB. IMHO I would choose Blitz since its the safer and apparently more fun option.
VariAres is still no joke!
should have my own testing up for both wheels!

this test has been done just yesterday. What we find is that to knock out mfh Basalt BD145 cs is easier than mfh Basalt BD145 rs. Vari ares can only manage to send Basalt in multiple hit or it keep on attacking it.

sometimes..basalt get walled many times..which is sucks..haha..
self K.O. is what i really hate..since it is heavy..it is really easy to commit suicide..so yeah..Blitz would be a safer option..

Those are some weaker VariAres tests. IDK what you're saying, VariAres spins in both directions which basically negates most of RS/RB's power.. VariAres is plain and simple the best wheel available.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Sep. 13, 2011

EDIT: VARIARES HAS HIT THE COMPETITIVE MFB COMBOS!! HOO-RA!

GB145 I hated with VariAres, it slowed down any and all potential hook onto the Tornado Ridge and juts kept it centralized. I say this due to the fact that it got those results which were the EXACT same with mine.

wouldn't GB145 stop the self KO's with a faster bottom if your statement is true?

well I agree I never said it was bad I said Blitz was SAFER IMO blitz seems to be just slightly worse than Vari Ares...
If Vari is on the list I propose Blitz too... after I get my testing on Blitz done it'll be this much closer... haha

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Sep. 13, 2011

Blitz is great alright, but has it had as many tests against literally any form of Defense Combination such as in the OP, plus all of these tests I'm posting before?

we tried on other attack tracks..it prong to self K.O. XD
no doubt..Vari is a very great Metal Wheel...

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeyCenter - Sep. 14, 2011

The title of the thread should be edited to VariAres Discussion. Oh well, its Kei's choice
Anyway
Dan
I will have to disagree, We differ in opinion of course, but I would just like to say, Blitz contains less KO and I find it much better in my opinion then VariAres. But VariAres would definitely be my second choice.

well I did loads of testing with Blitz check it out in the blitz discussion.
Blitz has less recoil than Vari Ares. So less chance of defense types Ko'ing it I have experienced that with VariAres you have more self KO's as well.
since I don't really have my VarAres yet I can't speak for it but I can speak for BLitz...

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Sep. 14, 2011

It 'contains less KO'? What do you mean?
Dual-Spin. Enough said.
Unless you of course want to make some comparative tests?

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Sep. 14, 2011

Gotta go with Dan here, literally you can do anything.

Just like Gravity when it was released, use it in any situation, for Attack [VariAres], and either spin depending upon the Defense Type, and now that Basalt rules over, it just gets better.

RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Benjohadi - Sep. 15, 2011

i have both Vari and Blitz...YES..Vari is more agressive, while heavier..it cause itself many self K.O compare to Blitz..
