Hey, welcome to the WBO.

Probably, although if you ever come around Sydney I usually host the tournaments around here.

Maybe you should actually check the official events list instead of being so lazy? And if there isn't one listed there, then no, no tourneys.

It is an incredible amount of work to set up and run a tournament, and normally there's some expense involved for hosts. It's not an easy thing to do, and we only do it for the competitors. Frankly, if you were in my state, you'd be barred from a few tourneys just for that sort of behaviour.

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - Will I AmBlader - Jul. 11, 2011

yeah... this guy knows from experience^
He went practically MAD
AND what a predictable bunch. Holding another tourney in SYDNEY. WHY not try Perth?

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - th!nk - Jul. 11, 2011

We do pretty good, two tourneys in three weeks is a pretty high average tbh (even if it is only because I want to do something for plastics remembrance).

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - Nova-X - Jul. 19, 2011

i live in sydney Smile

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - Minho - Jul. 26, 2011

Im in NSW!!! oh and will there be a tournament next month? im not trying to sound whiny but i tried hosting one and i didn't really know what i was doing... even after reading the guides... fail. Unhappy

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - th!nk - Jul. 26, 2011

Can't bother learning to host one yourself? Then don't complain if no one else does. It gets on tourney holders nerves, because it's NOT an easy thing to do, it's quite stressful, so complaining when we need a rest is plain rude.

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - Minho - Jul. 26, 2011

i know thats why asked next month or so... im not saying WHY IS THERE NO TORUNEYS im saying will there be one??? I tried to host one and i read the guide like 5 times... i dont get it... relax okay im just asking... i know it must be stressful but iwas only asking ok...

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - th!nk - Jul. 26, 2011

Again, if there is not one mentioned anywhere, as of yet there is no information, and nagging is not the way to get information. Assume not unless you hear otherwise, and stop spamming in the mean time. :\

Dude. I live MUCH further from you. Like 30 Minutes more. if you love it enough you'll do it. Seriously man. That's poor.

Just a suggestion. If you find the guide a little confusing, you don't have to have your Tournament approved by the WBO. If that were the case you could use your own format and rules.

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - Gen SimpL - Jul. 27, 2011

no
his tournament was turned down as he was trying to hold one but didnt even clearly know the rules
he then answers saying " but people tell us "if u cant make it to a tourney because its not in your area, make one your self, dont be a brat and ask for one"
however he has said he could make it to sydney tourneys ...

why would u ask for one
do u understand how many pm's or comments the holders get
its the same thing
"WHENS THE NEXT TOURNEY"
we have lives to, school, uni , work
we have to do our own things first

if u think a simple spinning top comes first in life
then there's defiantly something wrong with u

RE: [Australia] Australian Members: Check in! - th!nk - Jul. 27, 2011

I think he understands now, guys. We've chatted via PM, etc.
