I'm not signed up because honestly I've never thought about it before.

I tend to try to keep the idea of dying out of my mind. lol

But I will likely sign up when I feel my time is coming. >_>

Because people don't usually like to think about what gets done to their bodies after they die. What's with the sudden urge to guilt everyone into surrendering their entrails to science?

What if you have some disease with some nasty effect to your organs? Or like you have wide spread cancer? Or even aids? I don't have a license so no I don't have an organ donor card.

Because you're carp dead and you don't need them and they can save people's lives. This is the only time you'll ever be able to save someone's life by the means of doing absolutely nothing.

Obviously if you're illegible that's different. I'll add that option.

Also, you don't need a license! Even a note written by you in your wallet will suffice! Or given to your family. This isn't mandated. I just have a cardboard organ donor card.

They could say no. Don't leave the fate in someone else's hands. People are dying every day because there aren't enough organs.

alot of religions see any way of messing with a dead body against their religion so making it mandatory wouldnt be an option in culturaly diverse countries. but they should make it more aware to people that they have the option to do it
