that doesnt matter just look at Bluezee's thread hes beating combos with an s-tip now tell me how outclassed is that

RE: Scythe Discussion - th!nk - Jul. 02, 2011

You missed the point of that thread... (HINT:It's not "hay s doesn't suck)

We test important things before random/niche ideas, anyway. You still haven't explained why it should be tested.

RE: Scythe Discussion - Mr. N - Jul. 02, 2011

Scythe is looking good.

MF-H Scythe Aquario 85CS (Stamina Mode) VS Lightning L-Drago 85RF
Standard Procedures
Scythe Aquario Win Rate – 70% (5KO, 9OS)
Lightning L-Drago Win Rate – 30% (6KO)

There were no scraping issues whatsoever. I launched Scythe Aquario full power.

RE: Scythe Discussion - th!nk - Jul. 02, 2011

No mf on lld? Otherwise, nice results.

RE: Scythe Discussion - BeybladeStation - Jul. 02, 2011

Neat man! I want some tests done:

MF Scythe Kronos [Stamina Mode] GB145CS VS. MF Lightning L-Drago H145RF

I want to see recoil versus it.

RE: Scythe Discussion - Mr. N - Jul. 02, 2011

@th!nk For some reason I didn't put it on LDD. I'l redo the tests with MF if you want.

BeybladeStation Unfortunately, I don't have H145 anymore. Are there any substitutes?

RE: Scythe Discussion - Bleik - Jul. 02, 2011

He is probably gonna say CH120 (145 Height)

RE: Scythe Discussion - Mr. N - Jul. 02, 2011

My friend has my CH120. The 145 height tracks I have are 145, DF145, AD145, GB145 and BD145.

RE: Scythe Discussion - BeybladeStation - Jul. 02, 2011

BD145, I'm trying best to avoid such, but sure, BD145.

RE: Scythe Discussion - Mr. N - Jul. 03, 2011

I'm not that experienced with MF Lightning L-Drago BD145LRF, so can I test with another Track?

RE: Scythe Discussion - Mr. N - Jul. 03, 2011

Did some more tests.

MF-H Scythe Aquario GB145CS (Stamina Mode) VS MF-L Lightning L-Drago 100RF
Standard Procedures
Scythe Aquario Win Rate – 50% (10OS)
Lightning L-Drago Win Rate –50% (10KO)

When Lightning L-Drago got a good hit in, Scythe Aquario would go flying. Sometimes it would be saved by the walls. This is better than Earth, IIRC. I launched Scythe Aquario full power.

MF-H Scythe Aquario BD145CS (Stamina Mode) VS MF-L Lightning L-Drago D125RF
Standard Procedures
Scythe Aquario Win Rate – 85% (17OS)
Lightning L-Drago Win Rate – 15% (3KO)

Lightning L-Drago got some hard hits in, but Scythe Aquario rarely would touch the ridge, much less be knocked out.

I’m going to do some tests against MF and XF next.

RE: Scythe Discussion - BeybladeStation - Jul. 03, 2011

Looks like low-tracks get the most of it.

Does it tip over after being wedged?

RE: Scythe Discussion - Mr. N - Jul. 03, 2011

What do you mean?

Aw... I expected good Defense... Still, as you say its better than Earth, its at least a good one for Defense, isn't it? Also, does LLD 'kill' Scythe during battles, or its just a matter of luck?
Well, great tests! Smile

RE: Scythe Discussion - Mr. N - Jul. 05, 2011

GB145 had no chance against LLD. BD145 did better, but LLD got some hard hits in.

Scythe is not as heavy as Basalt, but it makes it up with the free-spinning PC Frame. If the PC Frame is not exposed to the Attacker's wheel, then there is little to no reason to use Scythe over Basalt for Defense.

At least that's what I think.

RE: Scythe Discussion - KaizerMFB - Jul. 06, 2011

I did a little unofficial testing.
Very unproper, but the combo is MF-H Scythe (Free Spin Mode) Kerbecs/Bull/(Kronos) BD145CS.
I was either to lazy to look up for testing of this, but will do so now.
From my rough testing, the BD145 will pretty much kill most of low attack type beyblades, and eliminates low stamina combos because of the obvious. Tall stamina combos from 145 to 230 are pretty much on par with it. Depending on what happens, it can destabilize if it is a light wheel on the stamina combo, but it ruins your clear wheel...anyways, using basalt is a good way to kill it, but because of the free spinning wheel, it can either kill Scythe outright, or do the opposite to basalt.
I request someone to test this combo out, if they have any spare time.....I don't have much sadly :3

RE: Scythe Discussion - RustyXD - Jul. 06, 2011

Yeah this i an awesome combo , greenxblader told me about it and i did some testing with it and it gets awesome win rates , I was going to make a thread or mention it here but i forgot but it's still one of the best combos out.

are you talking to me? XD
yah gonna do some official testing soon....

RE: Scythe Discussion - Omega - Jul. 06, 2011

My Scythe Kronos came today, I've done some solo spin times (Stamina tests). I'll do some battle tests later.

T125EDS (Stamina Mode: Free Spinning PC Frame): 4:25
T125EDS (Attack Mode: Solid PC Frame): 4:27
Attack mode averaged slightly better results.

BD145EDS: 3:49
BD145WD: 3:31
BD145MB: 3:43
145EDS: 4:34
145WD: 3:56
145MB: 4:02
230EDS: 3:25
230WD: 3:27
230MB: 4:19
85EDS: 5:15
85WD: 4:21
85MB: 4:47

Scythe Kronos 85EDS has the best results; averaging 5 minutes 15 seconds.

All solo spins were done multiple times, and there were no big differences in each individual tests. The numbers you see are the average spin time for each customization.

EDIT: The reason why I wanted to test BD145 is because even though it's not in boost mode, it's extremely close to the MW, due to Scythe being so low. It didn't do very well though.

RE: Scythe Discussion - CyberBlader27 - Jul. 06, 2011

Weird, you would think a stamina track (such as 230) would work best...

RE: Scythe Discussion - Omega - Jul. 06, 2011

230 is only good in battle, solo spin times don't really determine if a bey is good or not.

RE: Scythe Discussion - th!nk - Jul. 06, 2011

85 lowers the centre of gravity, stabilising the beyblade. The higher centre of gravity of 230 topples easier.

Omega: How many spearate times did you use to work out the averages. Also, you mean "attack" mode, not Aguma mode, methinks.

RE: Scythe Discussion - Omega - Jul. 06, 2011

I did about 4 - 6 each. I did a tad more on the MB customization's, as they move quite aggressively at the start.

And fixed haha, got Aguma from Akirasdaddy's video Pinching_eyes_2

Yet, that means that in battle, 230 gets hit at its centre of gravity, therefore having good balance.

Well, "nearer to it's centre of gravity" would be more accurate, but yes, that's a major ingredient in it's success (The others being the additional shock absorption of plastic, it's reduction of metal-on-metal contact due to height, and it's roundness).
