Hi WBO Members!

Anyone here into biking? How often do you bike in a week and what kind of biking adventure do you like?

RE: Love of Biking - BeybladerPotter - Jun. 21, 2011

Uh...I love biking. I bike with my cousins and aunt on special occasions.

RE: Love of Biking - Kelaun - Jun. 21, 2011

I bike every day. I prefer mountainbiking, but you can't say we have mountains here in Belgium. At winter I go to Switzerland and I do some downhill.

I just got into biking, I do it for excersize. Currently Im riding an old piece of junk bike, but I hope to buy a new bike soon. I try n bike at least 2 nights a week and I usually ride for about 10 miles.

RE: Love of Biking - Nano - Jun. 22, 2011

I have an old Haro Dave Mirra 540 Air I ride around. It's too heavy for me. I can do a maximum of a 1in Bunny Hop. However, it does do well going off ramps. I have two little ramps that are a little over one foot. I can easily get some air off those. I think the bike weighs around 30-40 pounds. Bikes these days are around 20-30 pounds, so mine is considered really heavy.

I have a Diamond Back (What the Hell is That)!

Nano You can't lift that.

I Sometimes Bike, Not allot but enough. When I was younger I used to ride my bike with all my friends and make a track in there back yard. Can't do it anymore because of moving was fun while lasted!

Now all my tires are completely flat and don't even have a seat!

You do realize for a Bunny Hop you have to lift the weight of the bike, along with the weight of yourself all into the air and balance it all out? Doing a Bunny Hope ain't as easy as it looks.

I bike everyday now, for like an hour. Trying to explore around:

I have a Mongoose Mountain bike... not sure of the full name

RE: Love of Biking - DynaZord - Jun. 22, 2011

Well, I have a Mongoose (I'm a teenager) it's marketed as a BMX bicycle, but all I do is ride around the neighborhood. I used to have a Mongoose Hoop-D, but that was before my brother sold it for ten bucks at a garage sale.

RE: Love of Biking - ƛnubis - Jun. 22, 2011

I use a Mongoose I just ride to a base ball park and play soccer in the batting cages.

RE: Love of Biking - leonebest - Jun. 22, 2011

what play soccer in the batting cages? or is it because the fields are closed or somthing because the fence is to high?

Is everybody talking about biking(motor cycles) or bicycling? If this discussion is about bicycling then I like this a lot.

RE: Love of Biking - drakio - Nov. 02, 2011

I have a haro, and I love to just ride around, but I also have a BMX bike and I race that.

RE: Love of Biking - madera3229 - Nov. 29, 2011

I used to bike when I was like 4 but now I can't remember so I constantly lose balance. My friend on the other is a HUGE biker. He has bike magazines, can fix a bike, fan of Lance Armstrong, bikes for up to 55 miles(I can't even do 1 mile),and buys a whole bunch of bike accessories. Now however he has a knee problem for TOO MUCH BIKING and can't do P.E for a while.I like running a lot though but biking for me is just too hard.

This is off topic but Im buying a performance tip(Click Here)

RE: Love of Biking - omega dragonis1 - Dec. 16, 2011

RE: Love of Biking - Thor Odinson - Apr. 27, 2012

Okay, this thread is dead, so i'll just revive it. I have a Purple huffy and its an 18 speed. Its got a compass, with a bell and hammer. Its got a really good seat and my uncle passed it down to me for my birthday! I bike every day, rain or shine(Thanks to under armor) and my friend taught me how to do a wheelie, but i can only keep it consistan for a second. Its tires have alot of grip. And just one question, how do i make my brakes tighter? Because my friends bike can stop on a DIME!!! But really, they are really good for a used bike. Serious

RE: Love of Biking - bumpyfelon - Apr. 30, 2012

Right now, I am looking to buy a Schwinn Stingray, my favorite bike. I have a Specialized 21 speed bike with amazing breaks and excellent suspension. Problem is, it is getting a little too small, so I will give it to my mom. I am looking all over for what I think is a good deal, but I really don't know. Does someone here know enough about Stingrays to give me a good price estimate?
