Groundhogs Day - mdhvdukshsj - Mar. 10, 2009

Have any of you seen this movie? Here's a terse summary:
Quote:In the film, Murray plays Phil Connors, an egocentric Pittsburgh TV weatherman who, during a hated assignment covering the annual Groundhog Day event (February 2) in Punxsutawney, finds himself repeating the same day over and over again. After indulging in all manner of hedonistic pursuits, then going through a suicidal streak, he begins to reexamine his life and priorities.

This is honestly one of my favorite movies. While its disappointing that it didn't end up as philosophical as Murray wanted, it is still deep nonetheless. If you haven't seen it yet, I definitely recommend that you do.

It is a comedy, but it definitely has some serious undertones. Really good balance between the two, in my opinion.

Neither have I, but I should get around to doing so. I shall add it to the growing list of movies I need to make time to watch.
