RE: "Build me a combo!" - th!nk - May. 17, 2011

Noob Blader:
It's half-decent, but it'll scrape, and be beaten by plenty of things. Get a Ray Unicorno Booster (not starter), or a pre-opened BB-100 with CS (Flame Gemios 105CS or Galaxy Saggitario 145CS), and a metal face remodeling version/MF-2, make MF-H Basalt Horogium 230CS. Or, if you can get two beys, get Hell Kerbecs as well, and make MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS (making sure that BD145 is oriented so that none of it's spikes are directly in line with the "dip" in basalts wheel, one should be directly parallel to it though, this improves it's balance).

(May. 17, 2011  7:11 AM)CoolBladereva Wrote: Which combo is the best among these combos?
hell kerbecs bd145wd
hell kerbecs bd145ewd
hell kerbecs bd145sd
hell kerbecs bd145ds

Hell Kerbecs BD145(Boost) WD, the best pure stamina combo out, but it does get OS'd by MF-H Basalt Aquario/Kerbecs/Bull 230CS and beaten by MF-H Basalt Aquario/Kerbecs/Bull BD145CS, which are actually defense types, so it's kinda meh now.
EWD works as well, I find it slightly easier to KO, personally.

RE: "Build me a combo!" - Lexos - May. 17, 2011

ok as we all know, the legends wheel 'Midnight' has extreme recoil, but alot of potential.
Today, I bought this beyblade in hopes of making a good destabalizer combo with the SemiFlat tip.
I feel as though Midnight would work better if it had alot more weight.
SO, I tried MF MidnightBullGB145WD.
I also did combos such as=

MFMidnightGemiosGB145SD/WD
MFMidnightBullED145WD
MFMidnightSusanoo100WD
MFMidnightVirgoGB145B/WD/SD
MFMidnightAquarioH145WD

In terms of overall success, which would you recommend as my tournament bey?

I didn't put down energy rings 'cause they don't matter.
'Energy Rings', or clear wheels do in fact change the spin time significantly. Somewhere on here, there are 10 calculated spin times for the same combo bey, with different clear wheels. The popular saying that the lighter it is the more stamina it has was proven wrong.
The 'energy ring' Bull, provided nearly 20 seconds longer spin time than the lightest wheel, Gemios.

CoolBladereva: 1st one. Hell Kerbecs BD145WD.
Noob blader: It is okay but Basalt performs better in higher heights.
TH3Blad3r: Attack: Rock Leone H145RF. (Get LLD to make LLD 100RF.)
Defense: Earth Bull C145WB (Get Earth Virgo to make Earth Bull GB145WB.)
Stamina: Earth Bull 145WD.

Basalt Horogium 90WD is not that great, if you would change the clear wheel to something more balanced like Bull, Aquario or Kerbecs, It would be a great Stamina Combo.

But, I recommend using Basalt as a Defense combo, since Basalt is the best Defense Wheel till date, due to it's extremely heavy weight.

RE: "Build me a combo!" - CM Punk - May. 17, 2011

Is Earth Wolf C145 WD and Cyber Serpent SW145 RF GOOD?(I Know Bull Is Better For the Earth Combo But I Have another one that is Earth Bull C145 WD)

RE: "Build me a combo!" - Gen SimpL - May. 17, 2011

cyber serpent SW145 RF isnt great
cyber and serpent is outclassed alot, sw145 is alright, RF is good

EARTH is awesome with WD to but WOLF and C145 aren't great
your better with BULL and change the track to like 145

RE: "Build me a combo!" - Pendekar Gila - May. 17, 2011

are this good?
Earth Aquario R145RS

RE: "Build me a combo!" - Aquilaz112 - May. 17, 2011

It's good for Defense.
CoolBladereva:
Hell Kerbecs BD145 WD would be the Best.

EDIT:It was a damn typo.

RS is bad for stamina and it has balance problems so it is more useful for defense.

firstly, if you tried a combo using bull and a combo using, say, capricorn, there should be a difference. secondly, try Flame Cancer(if you have the cancer clear wheel because it's the only one that's really good for destabilizing) 100 SF. It's the best destabilizing combo possible. If you have Bull Energy Ring, you can make Earth Bull DF145/100 WD. It's alright for stamina

Basalt Bull bd145 wd or hell kerbecs bd145wd. You need better defensive bottoms and if you really want to make it good get a metal face or metal face remodelling version

That is a long quote.
I just did a test with EarthGemiosDF145FS vs EarthBullDF145FS

10 Matches
Earth Bull won every single one by an outstanding eight or nine second left over with the spin time.
Flawless evidence
