Do you believe the world will end tomorrow? I joke about it at school, but I don't truly believe it. It could happen any day, but I don't think tomorrow has any better chance than another day.

This Apocalypse was predicted through numerology, which is quite possibly the stupidest thing ever.
Even according to Religion, it's said that only God knows the day the world will end. Why do they keep thinking it would be written in a book?

The guy says it's religion, but it isn't. So this shouldn't be closed. And yes, he did waste his life savings on the billboards. If he is right, I will feel dumb. But we will live.

Actually, the end of the world has been predicted more than 240 times in recorded history and none of them meant the actual end of the world (That's pretty obvious)

This is not religious discussion. This is a discussion on wether or not the world will end. Nostradamus predicted the Large Hadron Collider or "doomsday machine" which has recently been switched on in Geneva. As he states "all should leave Geneva. Saturns gold will turn to Raypoz (iron) and destroy all life. There will be signs in the sky before this" I don't think it will happen however I am rather concerned about the state of nuclear science as we delve ever deeper into our understanding of how the world works.

This topic has been an ongoing joke in my Theology class. Also, the same man who predicted this predicted it 3 other times in the past. It isn't true at all and I sincerely pity the people that DO believe this.
