Favourite Songs - Cyber Kerberous - Apr. 29, 2011
EXPLAIN why you like the song!!!
Well, I know we have a 'Favourite Bands' thread,but I thought there should be a separate thread for individual songs, and some bands may only have one-hit wonders, etc.
So, state the name of the song, the band name, and obviously explain why you like it.
Other threads have been filled with spam/ two word answers and were then closed, so explain with decent reasons, too
If possible, post a link to the video, so others can enjoy it too!

My favourite song right now is 'Bat Country', by Avenged Sevenfold.
I really like the song mostly due to the beastly solo in the middle but the vocals/ lyrics just appeal to me as well. 'Afterlife' is probably on par with it too, for similar reasons.

I like many songs.
I like most of Linkin Park's songs as I like LP.
Rap songs like- I need a Doc, I love the way you lie, Drop the World, are my favourites as Eminem just tears them away!
The new songs like J. Lo's On the Floor, Katy Perry's E.T. are awesome!

Yeah, those songs are awesome! Akon is great too! Well, I see many ppl post about cartoon/anime songs. So I would say that I like most songs from Phineas and Ferb.

Yes..those songs are quite good too...other than that I can say the japanese opening of Naruto season 2(Fighting dreamers) is also good...and even the beyblade soundtrack Rise Above the storm is a good one

Ah, the best emotional song I ever heard- The Fray- How to Save a Life. Its really cool! Also, its not at all 'slow' like most emotional songs are.

Well to be frank..I really 'hate' emotional songs....they are the yuckiest songs according to me...after hearing them either I get frustrated or...I go to sleep

So do I, I hate them. I also said that its not slow, maybe that's the reason we both hate those.. But this one is fast paced. It really sounds like a party song, but its got deep meaning.

EDIT: Sorry. I like Only In Dreams because of the guitar solo, which I had already pointed out, and I like Buddy Holly because of it's excellent guitar riff, El Scorcho's chorus is killer, and Pork & Beans has one of THE best music vids ever.
