CH120 Should Be Reinstated for Defense. - Half Nail - Apr. 23, 2011
CH120 should be notified a LOT more for it's Defense properties. CH120 has a pretty heavy weight, and its height-changing ability can allow the Defense Bey to block the opponent. Here are tests:
CH120 on Basalt (Click to View)

I will test CH120 on Libra and Earth, and soon I will test CH120 against Gravity Perseus.
CH120 seems to be really good with Defense. If you have any constructive critisicm, test results, or praise, please say!

I posted the combo before less the metal face. Rationale being it would make the Basalt wheel be more off centre which actually rides on the edge of the CS...
Due to the nature of it, I wouldnt really classify it as defence. Its way more offensive in my opinion... (for the basalt combo that is..)

We knew that CH120 could be used for defense, it used to be on the tier list IIRC. So, what's new? I like using CH120 for defense, personally.

Well i just tried it, I really didn't get the same results as you?
Can you post like how they lost so i can see how you got those results (Just Incase).
And also Dark Cancer CH120SF has alot of attack than defence, But he did win to my Burn Fire Blits!

Burn has use in attack types though. Maybe not great use but still some ability.

For some reason, i think Basalt is doing all the work here. Maybe, you should do CH120 on Libra or Earth.

Nice, but see it is known that Basalt mostly is the Defense part here. GB145/230 to CH120 doesn't make the BIGGEST difference. But these results are good, just expected. I agree with Azlan. You should change to Earth seeing it would give a much better appeal to CH120, rather than to Earth. Since at the moment Basalt is Defense King.

Yeah, I stated in the OP that I would be doing extensive Earth/Libra on CH120 testing. I'll go ahead and start working on the GB145 testing.

Can you just correct the second set of results, and perhaps the third too ? There are some mistakes, and I do not know if the fifth test was therefore really supposed to be with CH120CS.

The 5th test was indeed supposed to be CH120CS (vs. Lightning 145) compared to 230 vs. Lightning 145. I did another CH120CS test because of the height change and that 100 would lose badly to 230. The only mistake was me copy-pasting and not editing it fully/properly (BD145 tests). I do believe I fixed everything.

So, basically the same as GB145 ... However, CH120 was removed from the competitive combinations list for a reason. I wonder if it is just Earth which performs better with GB145, and Basalt does just as good with CH120 or GB145. If I have time, I will test that.
By the way, not all of those Attack types are top-tier.

How are you launching LLD BD145? Which beyblade is being launched first? This needs to be noted because Basalt BD145 is WAY better than the GB145 version and it gets obliterated. Using the Light Launcher L is very bad considering it is no good at all.

Ah, who between you and Ink. is using a Light Launcher L ? I looked at both topics and I could not really find this information. For certain the Beylauncher L is extremely better.
I use the BeyLauncher L. He is using Light Launcher L.
