Music Making Programs - Pich - Feb. 04, 2009 Does anyone know of any good ones? Preferably ones that aren't just MIDI but MP3 too. I know of some, but they are pretty expensive. I'd like a free one as well. RE: Music Making Programs - PRINCEcharming - Feb. 04, 2009 Microsoft Songsmith. You sing, and Songsmith makes the music for you. Probably not exactly what you were looking for, but highly amusing in the wrong hands. RE: Music Making Programs - bugturtles - Feb. 04, 2009 garageband RE: Music Making Programs - Roan - Feb. 04, 2009 Garageband, Soundtrack, Reason, Fruity Loops, Acoustica Mixcraft, etc. There's plenty out there, but you're going to have to pay for them. RE: Music Making Programs - Aqua - Feb. 04, 2009 Yeah, I only know about Garageband and Acoustica but Garageband can only be used with a Mac/apple computer. I was also looking for one the other day but you have to pay with all of them. Those kinda things don't come free often. RE: Music Making Programs - Pich - Feb. 04, 2009 I've been trying out the FLstudio(Fruity Loops) demo for awhile, I really like it, but $260 =(, I need to find a way to pay for it, its amazing (EDITED: just gonna say I'm gonna go ahead and probably purchase this, when I get a chance, its been the easiest to work with and I just love how easy it is to use). Hadn't heard of Garageband or Acousta before, thanks. =) REason was just to expensive for me to even search it. It's freakin $499. RE: Music Making Programs - Sega - Feb. 04, 2009 Fruity Loops is a good program to use, I use some sample's to make tracks but atm still having problems/ learning. My friend uses Reason and I'm pretty sure he's signed onto a label or something now. You can push out completely amazing stuff from it. RE: Music Making Programs - Pich - Feb. 04, 2009 Reason is even better than FL studio i would guess, its double the price. I will probably just get FL studio though, $499 is bit too much for me. RE: Music Making Programs - Evan - Feb. 05, 2009 Fruity Loops is the best synth program ever made. I've been using it for over a year, and I'm still figuring out new things to do with it. Now if anyone has a good autotune program, I'll love you forever. I know about GSnap for FL, but it's not what I need. I need a program that actually can autotune pre-recorded material. RE: Music Making Programs - Roan - Feb. 05, 2009 Reason is my love <3 Its so complicated and I barely even know how to do anything with it, but its definitely a pro-grade program and I'm consistently impressed with what I can do with it. RE: Music Making Programs - Pich - Feb. 05, 2009 Thanks for all the help guys. =) RE: Music Making Programs - Evan - Feb. 05, 2009 Once again, if anyone needs help with FL Studio hit me up or go to Warbeats. Also, please I need AutoTune help ![]() RE: Music Making Programs - Pich - Feb. 05, 2009 (Feb. 05, 2009 4:08 PM)Evan Wrote: Once again, if anyone needs help with FL Studio hit me up or go to Warbeats. RE: Music Making Programs - PRINCEcharming - Feb. 06, 2009 http://making-music.blogspot.com/2006/01/big-list-of-free-music-making-software.html Google seems helpful today. RE: Music Making Programs - Blue - Feb. 07, 2009 hey man you have a DS or PSP? there is the KORG synth coming for DS and traxxpad for psp. RE: Music Making Programs - Pich - Feb. 07, 2009 I've got a DS. How would it work? Does it connect to the comp. or something? RE: Music Making Programs - Roan - Feb. 07, 2009 ^ No, that's what sucks about it. Anything you make on the KORG DS-10 is stuck on the game card -- there's no way to export what you create, unless you plug the DS into a recording station via the headphone port and record your track as it plays back. I was almost sold on a DS-10 until I found that out -- carp that carp. RE: Music Making Programs - Pich - Feb. 07, 2009 (Feb. 07, 2009 5:04 AM)Roan Wrote: ^ No, that's what sucks about it. Wow, thats a waste then. There would be no point in buying that then. When will they start making decent DS stuff again. -.- RE: Music Making Programs - Blue - Feb. 07, 2009 ooohhh crapppy wtf is that carp. im dissappointed cuz that seems like the most blatant oversight mybad then "cakewalk" is one i know of too, pichu RE: Music Making Programs - Pich - Feb. 07, 2009 Ok, I'll look into it, thanks. RE: Music Making Programs - PRINCEcharming - Feb. 08, 2009 Time like this I wonder if it would kill Nintendo to have added a USB port, or even Bluetooth. I suppose they don't need either of those, as it already prints money by itself. |
