The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - DragoonTalon - Apr. 19, 2011

The title says all, you can talk about the books, ETC. I'm in the middle of the third book, i'm gonna stay up all night reading it.

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - Ga' - Apr. 19, 2011

I absolutely <3 this series. I own all 3 so far, and have pre-ordered the 4th when it comes out in November. I'M SO EXCITED!! Eee These books are absolutely amazing.

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - Wizard - Apr. 20, 2011

HEY! I HAVE AN IDEA!! How about you contribute to your own thread so it doesn't get closed?

I read the first book a few years back. It was ok, I guess. I don't usually read normal books though. Just Manga.

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - |Joe| - Apr. 20, 2011

I have read all 3 books, have they announced the release date for the last book yet?

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - Kai-V - Apr. 20, 2011

The fourth will be released in November ? That is quite far away ... This is one of the series that I want to read as soon as another book comes out, and in English, not in French.

Hah. I didn't know you were a fan of this series, Kai-V. That's a surprise right there. XD

November, that's too long to wait. I'm not reading the rest until the last comes out. According to Christopher Paolini (The Author) The fourth book will be titled "Inheritance" Kinda dumb to name a book after the series name. Tongue_out He couldn't come up with anything else? Lol.

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - |Joe| - Apr. 20, 2011

I hope it's worth the wait, I haven't read any of these in 2yrs and I need this last book!

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - Ga' - Apr. 21, 2011

I got the 3rd book the minute the B&N opened. Waited for an hour early, as soon as the guy came to unlock the door, rushed in, grabbed the book from the center table and dashed to the register. I've waited as long as humanly possible for the last book. And Bey-Heart, reading normal books is good too, you know. I love manga and all, but I like actually reading books more.

I agree.
I love this series but i hardly remember it because i finished the first three about 2 years ago.

I know this. I'm actually reading a Non-Manga book right now. It's called The Chocolate War. Next I'm gonna read Death Note: Another Note - The Los Angelas BB Murder Cases.

I still have to read Eldest and Bringr. (Did I spell that correctly?) I'm kinda too lazy to do that though. :\

Is anybody else mad about how the movie completely ruined the book? They messed up a bunch of stuff in the movie. And that's not even how Brom dies!! Angry Not to mention that battle at the end of the movie doesn't even happen until Eldest(?)

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - Ga' - Apr. 21, 2011

It's not even possible to make Eldest with half the story missing. :\ They didn't introduce Roran or Katrina, Arya is a human who already revealed that she was the princess of the elves, the dragon special effect sucked hard, everything about this was bad. I didn't even bother watching it cause I knew this would be a fail. And it's spelled Brisingr, Bey-Heart.

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - DragoonTalon - Apr. 21, 2011

Sorry guys, but I'll be on vacation till my spring break is over, but I'l still contribute to this thread.
I really do wonder who the green rider will be. Arya? Elva? Roran?

I hope it is Roran. Maybe hill will get a new hammer made by that elf lady who made the riders swords.

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - Ga' - Apr. 21, 2011

You know, I think it would be helpful if you spelled Brisingr right in the title, LDragoDestroy... :\

RE: The Eragon/Eldest/Brisngr/Inheritance Thread. - C-Dub - Apr. 22, 2011

The series is awesome!!Even though i'm still reading Eldest...

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - DragoonTalon - Apr. 23, 2011

I changed it Ga. Just a couple of days ago, namely the day aftter this thread was made, I finished the book, in one day. Oromis is an jerk, swearing those oaths, not telling Eragon who he was the son of.

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - Gamer420 - Apr. 24, 2011

I didn't know the Eragon series was called 'Inheritance', anyway, I've got Eragon and Eldest, Yet never read them, The movie is awesome though, where's my Eragon 2 / Eldest movie???

Smithicide Quite literally, Wut!?

READ THOSE BOOKS, AND YOU WILL SEE HOW BAD THE MOVIE IS. The movie sucks in every way imaginable. How can they do the second movie wen they never introduced the main characters in the first movie for half of the second book? Plus, it got completely carpy reviews, so I don't think they're going to make a second.

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - Kai-V - Apr. 25, 2011

You seriously know nothing about this series if you thought the movie was even decent. If they were too short on time to fit everything in, then they should have either did it in two parts, or just made none at all.

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - DragoonTalon - Apr. 30, 2011

Whenever I picture what Eragon looks like in that movie, I laugh. He's like an example of vampires. First they were cool, then their all sparkly.

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - No interest - Apr. 30, 2011

I got these for my birthday I finished them for just after the new year so just under 2 month (I was reading Ring and Spiral at the same time too). I did want to read the 4th book but I couldn't wait and sold them.

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - DragoonTalon - Apr. 30, 2011

I actually own only the third book, but I read both the first and the second, currently re-reading the first

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - Ga' - Nov. 09, 2011

I think it's worth necroing this thread to say that the fourth book came out today, and I'm reading it right now. It's soooooo good! I can't wait to finish, but at the same time, I don't want to. XD

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - NoodooSoup - Nov. 09, 2011

I read the first one for my summer reading and I have to say... it was really amazing. Much longer than most of the other books on the list, but it was so good I read it quickly. I still have to get the second one.

RE: The Inheritance Cycle Thread. - Kai-V - Nov. 09, 2011

Ah, I had forgotten about this being in November. It is a good thing I won twenty dollars for a library store.
