Faceoff sets - second last one (Great Ring of Destruction). Misspelled Lynx, as Lynz.

Fixed, but for future reference, for obvious spelling errors like this you can just fix them yourself when you see them.

Ah, I thought you can't edit it. Thought it was only for like Admins, etc. Tired

derp.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Aug. 01, 2012

Generally we don't make a big deal about it because it's better for people not to know, because most users don't have any business editing the wiki, and edits other than spelling/grammar fixes require approval from staff first.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - MasterBlader-X - Aug. 07, 2012

On the topic of Twisted Tempo 145WD on the beywikki they forgot to put a detail that also throws of Tempo's balance. There are dashes between every number on tempo's clear wheel but at one place. Between 8 and 9 on tempo's clear wheel there is no dash. Even if it's a small detail doesn't mean it'll not make a big effect on it. And if you look at it with the two big line on tempo's clear wheel on the diffirent sides and the 3 missing and the missing dash on diffirent sides it makes some t shape. So i thought maybe it's made like to to put it back on balance a little.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Aug. 07, 2012

It is an extremely small amount of displaced weight and has basically no effect on the beyblade. Clear wheels alone are largely inconsequential unless they're getting in the way, tiny amounts of displaced weight on an already light clear wheel, any effect noticed is more than likely to be a placebo effect, i.e. seeing what you subconsciously expect to see.

Is there a reason black dranzer is put in a way that links to another page despite it being very clear to me that it's not likely a page will be made for it? Also I edited the bits on Black Dranzer in the Dranzer F article since for some reason it doesn't even include the takara version (the other versions section of the Dranzer F article is pretty poor btw which i'll probably end up correcting since it's one of my favourite beys)

Shouldn't the weights for Kreis Cygnus be added to the stub?

Kreis 42.62

Total 49.18 grams

So, there is a third Black Dranzer?

Black Dranzer was at one point, a page on the wiki that was deleted because it contained no performance differences to Dranzer F. However, I don't understand why Black Dranzer was not made into a redirect for Dranzer F...

It surprises me that we delete a page like Black Dranzer, and yet we keep Big Mac...am I the only one who is still bothered by that useless page?

I vaguely recall there once being a redirect from black dranzer to dranzer F, but seeing as that's gone, I'll go through and remove those links now. Thanks for bringing this up, I haven't started fixing the smaller errors in the beyblade articles yet, haha, so many of them need full rewrites...

Honestly I need to get a Dranzer F because I'm unsure of what the article says about the attack ring and the heavy focus on upper attack and that it doesn't mention that the primary weakness is likely that its slopes don't start low enough and as a result normally it is using smash instead of getting under opponents). It needs a rewrite in general (no discussion of the AR in left spin, some historical perspective could be added to the SG section, base section has no information when it could at least describe the appearance). I also want to complete my dranzer collection, of course, but yeah. You're very much welcome to post a rewrite, if you want.

EDIT: Removed the links, made a couple of other minor changes.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - LeonTempest - Aug. 10, 2012

Would it be possible to re-add the redirect? Although, sometimes that gets a bit tricky with previously deleted pages

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Aug. 10, 2012

Deletion Log:
00:25, 5 August 2009 Kei (Talk | contribs) deleted "Black Dranzer" ‎ (Black Dranzer is simply a recolour of Dranzer F. Thus, there is no need for a separate Black Dranzer article.)
That's probably why the links are there, but they shouldn't be anyway.

I personally think we should re add it as a redirect because the beyblade is so popular (I wish I had access to beywiki's search/incoming view statistics lol), but seeing as it was previously deleted I'll discuss this with Kai-V rather than doing it myself.

Okay as for Black Dranzer Releases
1: Takara Stadium Set Version
2: Hasbro BBA Championship Version Original Box
3: Hasbro V Force Mobile Stadium Set w/ Phantom Force Wolborg
4: Hasbro BBA Championship Version V Force Box

I think all but number two came with the black dranzer sticker but I'd like confirmation. I may have the answer lying around in my PM's somewhere lol. Once it's figured out though it should definitely be included in the article. Black Dranzer's popularity may warrant a small sub-section in the alternate versions section, discussing the hasbro sticker thing, as well as the stuff currently at the start of the article, and given it's rarity and how well known it is, it could perhaps also get a small overall section discussing why it is/isn't a worthwhile purchase from a competitive and collectors standpoint. Again, only because it's such a famous and sought after recolor, and as such probably something people would want/expect to read about.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Kai-V - Aug. 10, 2012

Sure, do a redirect of "Black Dranzer" and "Black Dranzer F" to lead to Dranzer F. Put all those recolours/recolour-origins inside the Dranzer F article.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Aug. 10, 2012

I've created the redirects. I'll leave the recolors to Ultra seeing as he's said a lot are missing, and he knows recolors better than I do.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Ultra - Aug. 10, 2012

I didn't say any beys were missing (I think only one is missing) I just said the section is poor. The reason being the complete lack of detail. The crystal version for example. There's no such thing. What it means is the one from Fukobako 2002 but no detail is included, only the AR is crystal. Also the Coro Coro red one is metallic red and the one from Random Booster F isn't even mentioned.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Aug. 10, 2012

Ah, okay, I misread that. Feel free to fix that section up if you'd like, I'll see if I have any info on the bit sticker thing when I have time.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - LeonTempest - Aug. 10, 2012

Not to be overly generalistic, but how is there a Crystal Draciel F and not a Crystal Dranzer F? I was under the impression that all 4 beys (Dragoon, Dranzer, Draciel and Driger) all got crystal versions?

About Black Dranzer, if we are going to talk about its popularity, then we have to mention the anime in that little sub section that was proposed.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Aug. 10, 2012

Because they made a crystal draciel F and didn't make a full crystal Dranzer F, obviously...?
Ultra knows more about plastics releases than any (active at least) member on this site. I'm pretty sure his word is worth a lot more than your "impression"...

The cause for its popularity will obviously be discussed, that's common sense... We're not planning the section here.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Ultra - Aug. 11, 2012

Crystal Draciel F: Fukobako 2002
Crystal Dragoon F: Toys'r'us limited
Crystal Driger F: Not sure where from but there is one (it comes with a red weight disk.)
Crystal Dranzer F: NEVER MADE.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - LeonTempest - Aug. 11, 2012

I checked Driger F, just to be safe:

http://allinonecollectibles.com/9-0488e-11.html

This was the only image I could find. Although it is small, based on the monochrome colored box, I would assume it was also released like Draciel F's crystal version, (Fukobako 2002) as the Crystal Dragoon F does not have a monochrome colored box, and was released differently. We would need someone to confirm that though, or at least a bigger picture of the box.

Crystal Dragoon F's box:

Sheesh that is expensive...

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Aug. 11, 2012

Honestly they used monochrome boxes for a bunch of recolours but as it says crystal it's probably that one.

Okay this is the part where I get annoyed. Stop assuming things when I know for certain. With that first sentence are you saying that you believe it was released in Fukobako 2002 because that's not true at all. What I said is what is known for certain. They were not released as part of any set or anything so not released as part of the same thing. I don't know where the crystal version comes from tbh it doesn't matter. Also that version could also easily be one of three opaque recolours of Driger F. I find your lack of faith in me insulting especially considering this is the part I have a significant amount of knowledge in.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - LeonTempest - Aug. 11, 2012

You are being incredibly over sensative and your response was uncalled for. In no way did I challange your knowledge and you made it clear that you didnt know what crystal Driger F was from

You need to chill. If I offended you I am sorry, but this attitude isnt good to have. I never said you knew less, hell you do an amazing job with plastics and hms, and I credit you for it alot. No one is being hostile here Smile

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Aug. 11, 2012

Leon: Ultra may come off as short tempered sometimes but lately this has improved a whole lot, and it seems to me like you're interpreting his posts based on preconceptions as to his general demeanour rather than the actual content and meaning of his posts.
This isn't the first time you've questioned him as such, and it seems that almost every time he posts in this subsection you do so, always without any proper basis, and he gets this a lot from other members as well, despite his knowledge on releases, recolors, and prices being significantly better than my own. He could be excused for being a little jumpy at this point, especially with the relatively little thanks he gets in return for the effort he puts in.

Ultra: I don't think that last post was really aimed at you, although I guess it was something you needed to say anyway.

Can we please leave this thread now until one of us has an error to post? This discussion has gone way past the bounds of errors and become both article planning, random discussion, and argument. Don't post to respond, apologise, or whatever, just drop it.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Cannon - Aug. 21, 2012

The main page of the wiki - Archer Gryph is not hyper-linked, and I assume it was a mistake, since there's already a stub for it.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - UGottaCetus - Aug. 24, 2012

On the page for the Attack and Defense Set, it says that "Hasbro released Poison Escolpio S130MB as a Starter." It is actually Poison Giraffe.
