RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Janstarblast - Feb. 29, 2012

I am sorry if this was pointed out before -
I'd like to have the Dragoon V2 AR section to be edited a bit
It is one of those articles which may lead a reader to believe that recoil can be useful at times(while the fact is that recoil was never useful).
And hence to eradicate the 'recoil is useful' belief, that part needs to be edited as soon as possible. Smile

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Feb. 29, 2012

I'll come up with something for it to go in Dan's rewrite thread for the BB.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Janstarblast - Feb. 29, 2012

Thanks! You see, its probably not worded well and might give rise to misconceptions which are ought to be clarified the hard way(instant warning).
So it needs some rewording as soon as possible...

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Feb. 29, 2012

Yes, a lot of articles have similar errors. The strictness about terminology is a very recent thing, and while the wiki should have been checked for these errors before we started being so strict about it, seeing as it could well be the cause of warnings or whatever.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Janstarblast - Feb. 29, 2012

Just why I said - One of the articles. Smile
You see, I have more reason to point out the Dragoon V2 article. Wink
And that's just my point. We suddenly got so strict, without rectifying these errors.

On the wiki, it says dark gasher has SF, however it has really has FS.

Read the whole article. Everything in it is correct, and just know that we work closer with the original versions of the Beyblades. For instance, if we have to choose whether we will publish an article under "L Drago Destroy" or "L Drago Destroyer", it will be the first one, because Hasbro's name changes are just worth a bottom-of-the-page note.

The Takara Tomy version comes with SF. In the other versions section, it includes Dark Gasher CH120FS.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Hyper27 - Mar. 04, 2012

I'm sorry about that -.- . It would have actually been helpful if hasbro did the same -.-

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Kai-V - Mar. 04, 2012

In a sense, they did do the same as TAKARA-TOMY, but they could not release Mad since it was a Light Wheel, so they just took its metal version, plus they had to change Cancer's name ...

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Hyper27 - Mar. 04, 2012

That's true but I probably should have been more specific to what I meant as in the SF part.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Benjohadi - Mar. 04, 2012

these plastics has other version which is not mentioned yet.. XD
Dragoon V: coro-coro silver
Dranzer S : Fukubako Box 2002 Version (Red)
Dranzer F : coro-coro red

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Janstarblast - Mar. 13, 2012

Probably might have been pointed out before, but-
Earth Aquila article => Overall => WD has top tier uses for Defense.

I know various articles need to be updated with stuff, but this might be taken as a priority, considering the fact that it may lead to outlandish suggestions and embarrassing misunderstandings. And considering that Earth Eagle has been the favorite of many bladers, there may be many people who might check this article, and then go on to invite warnings...

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Kai-V - Mar. 13, 2012

I changed at least that part, but the whole Overall section probably needs a lot of work.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Janstarblast - Mar. 13, 2012

Its true that the whole overall section needs work, but well, almost everything does. I focused on pointing out things that need to be changed immediately to avoid confusion.
Not saying that calling Earth a top tier doesn't cause confusion, but yeah.

Thank you very much for changing that, Kai V.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Imperial - Mar. 16, 2012

I do not think this article should be there.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Dingodigo - Mar. 16, 2012

In the Metal Dragoon Bearing Stinger article in the overall section it says, "ever player Should own one." in the sentence before the bolded Every Blader should own one passage.

Added the 'y' in there...
I hope no one minds me editing the article. Smile

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Raigeko13 - Mar. 21, 2012

When I search Killer Beafowl it doesn't automatically go to the page. Is that normal?

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Nocto - Mar. 21, 2012

Yes, the Beywiki search engine is case sensitive, meaning even "killer beafowl uw145ewd" won't work. If "Killer Beafowl" isn't in the list of redirects, it will not work either.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - th!nk - Mar. 21, 2012

TBH, I think we need to make a list of required redirects as well as articles that need updating...

What, case-sensitive too ? Damn, I have to re-do everything ...

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Nocto - Mar. 21, 2012

Not completely.

Take Pegasis 105F, for example: "pegasis 105f" will not work, but "pegasis 105F" will. "samurai changer ms" won't, but "samurai changer MS" will, etc.

You get the idea.

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Kai-V - Mar. 21, 2012

So only the last letters ?

RE: Errors on the wiki ??? - Nocto - Mar. 21, 2012

I simply wouldn't bother with it. For the number of people who don't use capital letters vs. the number of exceptions/inconsistencies, it's simply not worth the effort.

Most of the Plastic series (S, F, V, V2, G) seem immune to rule. The HMS redirect can be written as "hms" and will still work, but the redirect for Galeon, BBA Balancer, will not if written as "bba balancer".
