Star Wars Movies - TITAN - Apr. 09, 2011

Post any thoughts on the Star Wars Movies here.

RE: Star Wars Movies - Boxy ID - Apr. 09, 2011

I really thought episode 1 was a little shammy. it was filmed after the 4th, 5th, and 6th episodes, and i dont like JarJar, he gets on my nerves.

RE: Star Wars Movies - TITAN - Apr. 09, 2011

Jar Jar is like the Dark Wolf of Star Wars. But Chewy is like the original Libra. I have seen original Chewy and Wampa fur at an ice cream shop.

revives!

My favorite villain is General Grevious, only reason why I watch revenge of the sith.

You're telling me that you don't watch ROTS because of Anakin's cringy "I hate you!" Growl near the end.

Say what you will, but I personally love ROTS; not just my favorite prequel, but probably one of my favorite Star Wars films. Maybe because it was the first I saw in theaters, but the prequels were huge in my childhood. Episodes I and II (
) were enjoyable but definitely had good size faults. That being said, I really like ROTS. The acting and dialogue wasn't perfect, being honest. The transformation of Anakin's character into Vader was something I always liked, as well as Grevious, haha. He was definitely one of the coolest parts about that film, though.

I only watch that if I wanna get faced since it's pretty easy to with that film.

On a side note, anyone seen that Clone Wars TAS? Not the 3d one, this one.

RE: Star Wars Movies - UGottaCetus - Nov. 24, 2015

All I know is I cannot WAIT for Ep 7. Its easily one of my most highly anticipated films of the year and I just can't believe how close we are...

RE: Star Wars Movies - smash attacker - Nov. 26, 2015

Theres star wars force awaken with bb-8 and a new dark vader called kylo ren with the red new light saber also there is new storm trupers called flame trupers that have a blow torches

RE: Star Wars Movies - Bladerguy2 - Nov. 27, 2015

The new light sabers are stupid. Why add the hand guard. That just limits you. You have to be careful when you swing it around. Lol. Don't cut your hand pff

There will be a lot of jokes of that in the future. Though I agree the new sabers look pretty stupid.

RE: Star Wars Movies - UGottaCetus - Dec. 02, 2015

I disagree, I mean Kylo Ren no doubt knows how man hands have been severed as a result of lightsaber battles, and well, I'm sure he'd prefer his fleshly hands over robotic ones.

RE: Star Wars Movies - Meta madness - Dec. 05, 2015

That new one is looking pretty nice an all, just a few more weeks then gonna fight my way into opening night.

RE: Star Wars Movies - Meta madness - Dec. 17, 2015

So who wants to talk about that episode 7 now.

RE: Star Wars Movies - ClaraM - Dec. 17, 2015

Well I just got back from seeing it twice. I thought it was fantastic, brilliant acting, great characters and the soundtrack was amazing (as always)

I will say this though, it was made more interesting by inside jokes and comments referring to the history of the Star Wars world so if you're not familiar with those you may find some comments and jokes flying over your head a bit. I took my mother as a Christmas treat and she's not a huge fan and because of this she got confused and as a result found it boring. It's definitely a fan-service Heavy film, but that doesn't stop it being a great action movie too.

The new characters Rey and Finn are amazing and I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing more from them. There's not much more I can say without there being spoilers other than I'd definitely recommend it and really enjoyed it. Movie of the year for sure.

RE: Star Wars Movies - Meta madness - Dec. 17, 2015

Fan service you say?

Hmmm, lookin forward to Friday then. Movie is gonna be good.

RE: Star Wars Movies - RagerBlade - Dec. 19, 2015

I really wanna go see it tonight, but I can't find a ride... I'll probably watch it Sunday night. Super hyped. I heard it's really good.
