Mercury's B-Day for Japan! - Half Nail - Mar. 18, 2011 My birthday is coming up! But, I want to help my relatives in Japan. They survived, thank Lord, but that doesn't mean everything is happy go lucky. So, I'm doing a birthday campaign for Japan. Here's what you do: 1: PM me telling me how much you want to donate and your PayPal. 2: I'll PM you to confirm and send you a pay invoice. 3: The campaign will end March 31st, and 85% of all proceeds will go to the Red Cross to help with the earthquake in Japan! I hope we can all help Japan by working together! Thank you! RE: Mercury's B-Day for Japan! - GaleForce - Mar. 18, 2011 Where do the other 15% go? RE: Mercury's B-Day for Japan! - GreeNxBlader - Mar. 18, 2011 I hope it doesn't go to a certain person's wallet...are you even allowed to ask people to just GIVE YOU money over the WBO. RE: Mercury's B-Day for Japan! - Dusk - Mar. 18, 2011 I don't think so...this thread should be closed. I don't think you are allowed to solicit money on here. RE: Mercury's B-Day for Japan! - Hero - Mar. 18, 2011 As Dusk pointed out, you aren't allowed to solicit money on the WBO. How can we guarantee that even 1% goes to the Japan relief fund? Please close this thread immediately. RE: Mercury's B-Day for Japan! - BladeStorm - Mar. 18, 2011 If people want to donate, there are direct links which give near 100% money to the victims. Though you may have the best interests at heart, this is a flawed plan indeed. RE: Mercury's B-Day for Japan! - Dan - Mar. 18, 2011 I'd rather donate to the Red Cross myself, directly over paypal; no middleman required. ![]() Happy your family is alright though. RE: Mercury's B-Day for Japan! - OkiBlaze - Mar. 18, 2011 You cannot solicit money on this site. If you want to donate, just use the Red Cross website. |
