You forgot the SNES and the wonderful Super Castlevania IV!
It may not be one of those fancy RPG-hybrid Castlevania games, but its still great!

And you are right. That was good too. I tried it on the GBA (the classic games were remade for the GBA, and I didn't have a SNES) and it reminded me of the Julius Mode in Dawn of Sorrow and Aria of Sorrow
