RE: Winning Combinations. - Yami - Nov. 29, 2013

No one posted Maryland winning combination for the past 2 months?

My winning combination in October:
Saramanda Dragoon F230GCF
Saramanda Dragoon B:D
Phantom Bull E230(Upper) TV

November:
Gargoyle Dragoon F230GCF
Saramanda Dragoon B:D (luckily I won against sway)
Wyvang Dragoon SA165MB (F230GCF/CF counter. MB was worn)
Phantom Bull E230TB (strangely beaten a Dragoon SA165BSF)

RE: Winning Combinations. - TimeOut - Nov. 29, 2013

Why were you using Saramanda?

It may be used if Reviser or Genbull isn't available, but surely you have one?

RE: Winning Combinations. - Yami - Nov. 30, 2013

It the physics law Time. I'll have to take a picture lol.

Could you explain what you think it does better instead? Even I have Dragooon and Saramanda and it seems inferior in every way to Reviser (in fact it seems to have rather poor balance even for a synchrome).

He's saying he can get a good balro combo but can't get a good wyvang one because he doesn't have ideal part access like some of us. "Even Poison is better than nothing", basically.

I believe that they were testing a new Dragooon combo that TBD made.

RE: Winning Combinations. - LMAO - Dec. 01, 2013

Nice job Thedaddude! You placed with only one combo! Nice!

Woah, Shiny, you placed 2nd in 2 tournaments in 2 days! There should be a face for that! Anyways, how did Duo Cygnus BD145RF work for you?

RE: Winning Combinations. - DrPepsidew - Dec. 01, 2013

rager: Coulda guessed

I PLACED IN TWO TOURNAMENTS IN ONE DAY!

Nice!

But it's not as impressive as 2 days in 2 different states!

Whoah, that is Dragooon-heavy, and not only the combo tbd made, there were a lot of others. Shining God MS's combos are so similar for both tournaments, haha.

He beat me with it when I used Wyvang Dragooon SA165R2F! We were 2-2 and I launched really bad near the tornado ridge and he KOed me! That match basically decided whether I went into the finals or not!

Er, my Flash never had Cetus, same goes for my bro, actually Coach asked us to post or combos on our own haha, but I used MF-H Flash Kronos W145RF (1 time), MSF-H Genbull Dragooon BD145RDF (3 times) MSF-H Genbull Dragooon SA165WD (1 time) and my King Combo MSF-L Girago Wyvang CH120MF (4 times). I believe my overall record was 9-1.

Imagine my dad with F230GCF or Attack

Thanks! I feel my BeyPoints rising already Grin. Actually, I was the one who "revived" Duo BD145RF, I predicted Fang would use Attack and Duo BD145RF is amazing at countering Attack. So it worked out pretty well(although 2 of the wins were by self KO XD)

Actually, me, Tri, and TBD decided that all of us should use Bahamdia Dragooon BD145R2F and win, so I guess yeah.

RE: Winning Combinations. - DRAGON KING - Dec. 07, 2013

So many gravity B : Ds ......

How did they fair against attack?

RE: Winning Combinations. - Angry Face - Dec. 07, 2013

Def actually won with Gravity X:D? Chocked

YEAAAH

EDIT: Just remembered what the other combo I used was: Basalt Aquario 230CS!

RE: Winning Combinations. - Dan - Dec. 07, 2013

Looks like the new format is off to a nice start.. Gravity B:D? Sounds silly vs. Attack so yes, just like Dragon King, I ask you how on earth they lived!

And just as I thought, GRAVITY GRAVITY GRAVITY!!!!

might be a problem.
Thanks for hosting a tournament with such a recent format Howie!

RE: Winning Combinations. - Kai-V - Dec. 08, 2013

Just take it from me : I think Gravity is the safe choice, hah. This is the first tournament with the Limited format though, so everyone needs to adjust to it and find other options.

RE: Winning Combinations. - Dark_Mousy - Dec. 08, 2013

Gravity did well overall. Gravity TR145 R2F will be making waves in coming weeks/months. Im ready for next weekend. We get to have another tournament Smile

RE: Winning Combinations. - Kei - Dec. 08, 2013

It would be nice if you could post some kind of report about this tournament, Dark_Mousy (or anybody else who participated). It can be misleading to read a list of combos but not know much of anything about the match-ups.
