DD got in top without a core disk/frame? Impressive. And it's also cool to see the other Z blades make top too!

Seriously I used to be against banning it but I think it's kinda ridiculous. Especially after seeing this lot lol.

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Suhasini - May. 02, 2018

Goodbye Sr... your ban is inevitable now, After the winning combinations of this tournament have been posted, there is no way you will survive, it's your direct one way ticket to the Ban Group. And I am in support of this decision, or else the game will never be balanced and always be unfair.
Lol.. all the beyblades I like, get banned...

I'm with you.

Even though my bearing feels every so slightly tighter than all those we compared and has godly balance, Sr ban hammer incoming. ^_^

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Arcosst - May. 02, 2018

At least this combination needs to be banned, imo. Probably just Sr as well lol. Honestly going into a tournament whilst looking forward to facing Sr Bearing doesn't sound fun at all.

Sr Bearing more like Sr Unbearable :U

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - FIREFIRE CPB - May. 02, 2018

@[OldSchool™] did you went against any Ark Bahamut? From my experience aB seemed to win against Sr in same spin. In opposite spin both ties (Do note that I tested on Atomic vs Atomic for opposite spin only till now. I will test on Orbit, etc later today)

I imagine after ban of Sr, aB Bearing can become popular

aB is almost nonexistent in Toronto. Shocked it wouldn't burst in the same spin direction against Sr, honestly (although maybe it's because you were using Atomic, which must have moved around more). But I can't say I've tested it.

Arc Bahamut makes near zero appearances in Toronto.

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - BladerGem - May. 04, 2018

I feel like, if Sr does get banned, it'll be more "limited" than banned, like how mG is limited to only the mG or Metal God Chips. It may be better in the long run to simply ban the use of Bearing on Sr rather than to ban the layer entirely.

I somehow agree to this, looking at how powerful Cho-Z beyblades are, Sr will/can act as a counter for those bladers who do not own any Cho-Z beyblade, so it would be better we ban only Sr on bearing and not the layer(or any other part which makes it kind of invincible). Because the layer also has it's pros and cons..
But just an opinion.

I completely agree

There is a detailed Sr/mG/G3 ban discussion going on in the WBO rules thread:

In same spin match I used both on Bearing (A free play battle where Snidmist used his aB 5G Bearing vs my Sr 7B Br) and in opposite it was Atomic (as Opposite spin test I did at home vs Same spin one I did at tournament).

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Mstubbs88 - May. 04, 2018

it would definitely need to be banned from use on more than just bearing.... destroy as well tbh, and at that rate, itd just be simpler to have a flat across no, than a "its okay on every driver except these" itd be just as broken on other drivers too tbh. Atomic, Xtreme... the layer is just TOO powerful and is being heavily overused....

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Siⱺn - May. 07, 2018

Solution (because I know how many people covet sR)

You can only launch Sr from right spin exclusive launchers (banning it in left spin)

It won't be able to equalize spin, and consequentially making it much more prone to bursting!

Youve clearly never used Sr. The thing isnt prone to bursting.... period...

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - ~Mana~ - May. 07, 2018

Spin direction isn't the issue, especially given how many Beys we have of each direction.

And Sr can Burst, but it's simply hard to do. Bloody Longinus manages it quite well if Sr spins left, but that's the limit to it.

But obviously the entire Layer just has traits that make it rather broken at the moment...

And it also depends on the molds as in the recent event in Fremont some spriggan requiems did not burst it all and then others like Mages burst against Siege Xcalibur attack combos and spriggan was in left which was really bizarre to see. that dose not mean spriggan Requiem barring is
Not beatable mine's got shut down by G3 some disc and frame atomic by os that seems to be the only thing that can beat it right now that can care of you to the finals
So in the end Banning spriggan requiem and G3 and maximum Garuda was a good choice for the meta
The next one I see possibly getting trial band is Crush Ragnarok as this thing is a stamina type but at times is hard to burst depending on the molds we will have to see in the future if it dominates The Meta or not

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Crimson Chin - May. 11, 2018

I wish everybody who came to participate could have a Sr so thatits not banned.
