Wait Kei’s combos can’t be right, it says his deck has 2 Forge Disk 0s and 2 Bumps in it.

Sugoi has 2 Nightmare Longinus too.

He used the same disk and frame during the first stage, the final deck is a completely separate thing from the beys you use during the first stage.

I know, it specifically says Deck Format Finals Only for both combinations. Did they perhaps have separate decks for different matches?

There were multiple battles in the finals (Quarter/Semi/Finals). He switched combos during each match. Yes, you are allowed to have a different deck during each match.

Oh ok makes sense now, just find it curious why one would have different decks unless you personally know the other Blader’s deck style.

The latter is exactly it. Knowing about your opponent influences your deck building decisions.

So someone actually won in the finals with Winning Valkyrie? That's kinda neat.

It's also kinda neat to see so many people trying out the new system.

it makes sense as part of a deck.  it’s essentially an alternative sX combo, without the sX.  for the given match-up, i’d bet an actual sX combo would have performed similar.

Yeah, I believe he just used it to Burst a dC Bearing combo. wV is of course at least good enough to do that haha.

I was using wV with xtreme because I wanted a really aggressive attack type because I knew he would have mG and Deep chaos. And using a semi flower pattern would be able to burst both of them somewhat easy or knock them out because of all the weight

TN on Loop?Did NL come to the finals?

Yeah, nL was in the finals, it just got swapped out after like, a round. Nobody playing that day really cared about competitive play (or maybe even didn't know what was competitive), so that combined with the tournament's sheer size made me constantly astral projecting though the tournament ahaha

But hey... at least it makes the winning combos a sight to behold. :p

RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - FIREFIRE CPB - Apr. 22, 2018

Mystic Zone
(mumbai, MH India - 21/4/2018)
1st Place:- The Snidmist
MF-M Duo Cygnus BD
Genbu Reviser BD145RSF
MSF-H Pegasis Dragoon SA165RDF

2nd Place:- FIREFIRE CPB
MSF-H Genbu Dragoon 85WD
Duo Cygnus E230CS
MF-H Flash Cetus D125RF

3rd Place:- Eurekaboy (Ritik)
Reviser Dragoon 90WD
Death Kerbecs BD145RDF
Wyvang Pegasis W105MF

Today's event was very Dragoon heavy. Which is where Snidmist got his advantage with the Duo BD. Actually not advantage but more of causing opponent to use something else as it was endlessly drawing with not even half spins. And if any bey wins then it was Duo. His BD also was of very good mold so it got advantage against E230's too (which were WD and CS btw. As no one got a MB. And my CS was kinda goes agressive very easily. So if I launch harder it stalls and waste stamina. If I launch weak he wins by stamina).

Spiral Diamention
(mumbai, MH India - 21/4/2018)
1st Place:- Snidmist:-
Drain Fafnir 7B Atomic
Ark Bahamut 5Glaive Bearing
Deep Chaos 7 Revolve

2nd Place:- AaryanBITW
Dark Deathscther Knuckle/7 Gyro
Victory Valkyrie 7 Xtreme
Legend Spriggan 7 Merge

3rd Place:- Eurekaboy/Ritik
Legend Spriggan 7 Merge
Lost Longinus Gravity Xtreme
Lost Longinus Gravity Revolve (it actually OSed my dC Orbit)

Today's event kind of got dominted as well by dF. I would also like to mention Aaryan's D2 OSED MAXIMUM GARUDA Polish Atomic and Eurekaboy's L2 Gravity Revolve OSed Deep Chaos Heavy Orbit . Me and Snidmist had almost equal deck (I had mG, aB.7B.Br and zA 0M Yr) but he had used a tighter Mold A chip and he had 5G vs my 7B. So I bursted 3-0 (1 round he OSed my mG with dC).

Even though I didn't used it. I found zA to do well on Yard due to its lowered height. It KOs/Burst right spin well and defends decently. But it doesn't do well against Left Spin as well.

Thanks for reading!
