Beyblade's USA Facebook - /Zephyr/ - Feb. 18, 2011

Please correct me if I am wrong, but is the WBO's purpose to educate and organize people and beyblades? Whenever I visit the Facebook page, I see people posting horrible questions that (forgive me if I am too melodramatic) corrupt all that this forum teaches and promotes. Questions Like(and i quote):

My Vampire L Drago!
IS ROCK LEONE ONE OF THE BEST BEYS?
should trade string laucher for grip launcher?
Me and my earth Pegasus will never loose
Gravity Perseus is the best bey ever!!
Dark is a good ring balances.
oh my god my earth wolf is amazing the most stable bey i have ever seen
everyone hasbro beyblade metal part is not metal

Is that enough or need I go more?
All those examples are mainly to prove a point. Everytime I go on, I see either ShadowPegasis or another WBO member ansering all questions with un-opinionated amazingness. Every time I go on i also try to stop the craziness, but I think we need to do something more.

The WBO members must organize a group to answer these questions and refer all these FBookers to the WBO.

By the way, my name is Ethan Wetherby.

P.S. Thanks to ShadowPegasis, and all your help in curing this cancer.

(I understand that this facebook bey-failing will never stop, but we can still help educate and direct all these people.)

No problem. Asians gotta stick togethor, hah.

The answer seems quite obvious.

With that, we can delete any posts that are considered spam, based on the WBO's rules. I also think removing any arrogant posts from the page would benefit us all.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - OmegaZX - Feb. 18, 2011

I see this all over youtube aswell and it is a problem...

When i see a post similar to the examples I instantly think "This person can not possibly know about WBO."

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - /Zephyr/ - Feb. 18, 2011

WOW SP, i never thought of that! I volunteer to be a mod for FB. If you semi-join, we can stop the cancer!
btw, im only 1/4 aisian.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - ShadowPegasis - Feb. 18, 2011

First we'd have to somehow convince the one person currently running the page to resign. That may be the difficult part, as they're barely online.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - Otsu - Feb. 18, 2011

Might as well just make a WBO facebook page. that seems like the simplest thing to do. s

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - ShadowPegasis - Feb. 18, 2011

Still, there is a page with noobs running wild in need of our knowledge.

Wait, what?

I thought hasbro was running it?

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - ShadowPegasis - Feb. 18, 2011

Someone told me it was one person who works for Hasbro, so I'm just basing it off what he said. It could be wrong though.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - /Zephyr/ - Feb. 18, 2011

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - ShadowPegasis - Feb. 18, 2011

I tried making topics in the Discussion Board for most of those, but they keep getting pushed back by SPAM threads.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - Kai-V - Feb. 18, 2011

Are you all quite active on Facebook ? I was thinking of setting one person or a group that could manage the official World Beyblade Organization Facebook page, because for certain I think we are too busy and I really spend as little time as possible on Facebook, in life ...

If you could post examples of your involvement, for instance on that "USA Facebook", it would help me.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - ShadowPegasis - Feb. 18, 2011

I'm quite good with purchase consultation there, as well as giving advice for combinations, etc. I've also tried organizing posts by making topics in the discussion board, but no avail due to how much those kids barely pay attention to what's already posted. I also correct kids on basic stuff, like the naming system, what's good and what's bad, etc. I already know several people both on here and on Facebook who have contributed well.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - Kai-V - Feb. 18, 2011

Can you post or send me examples of what you have done ?

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - Ray Joker - Feb. 18, 2011

If possible, I could help too.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - ShadowPegasis - Feb. 18, 2011

I'll try to find them. They're most likely buried in the ancient parts of the page.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - /Zephyr/ - Feb. 18, 2011

OH. MY. GOD. Kai-V commented on my topic!!! This is the greatest day of my LIFE.

Sorry for the outburst, its just like my first time meeting someone bey-famous.

Anyhoo, I guess im sortof active on Facebook. I would say ShadowPegasis is more active on the website than me, but i guess im sorta helpful(i started posting in the last week) so we could both be mods of the WBO facebook page(PM both of us the user and pass).

I would post Sp's and my involvement, but i understand that he or she doesnt want their name posted on these boards.

[EDIT]
I was too busy typing and looking for stuff to refresh and see all these replies, so i guess ill pm you my contributions.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - ShadowPegasis - Feb. 18, 2011

You can simply put a standard "[quote]" code.

Off-Toppic: I'm a "he", so yeah.
I just remembered. Several member's of wagalshi's website, as well as other WBO opposing forums, are quite active on the page as well, so they may try to prevent people from following what we say.

Could you please point me towards "wagalshi"'s website?
Also, what do you mean "opposing"? Are they against our view?

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - ShadowPegasis - Feb. 18, 2011

Essentialy, yes. They hate us for being a better fourm, hah. Here's the link:

If there's anymore, please tell me.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - /Zephyr/ - Feb. 19, 2011

You have to PM your contributions to the page to Kai-V.

RE: Beyblade's USA Facebook - SwiftShadow - Feb. 19, 2011

I'd like to help as much as I can, this Facebook Bey-failing has gone on long enough.
