1: How do you become a mod or a comittee member?
2: What does being one involve?
3: When are you considered a veteran?

A moderator simply makes sure that the board is clean, so they can close topics, warn members, etc. Committee Members can do everything, and take decisions regarding this community and organisation.
When you have exhibited your knowledge in a way that the Committee considers is quite significant.
