customisation n00b, Help! - Printable Version

customisation n00b, Help! - Neeek - Dec. 14, 2008

i'm pretty much a noob to customising but decided to try some things out because of the upcoming uk tourny (i will get beasted otherwise). with the help of beywiki articles, i tried to make a good upper attack beyblade and here are the parts:

AR- upper dragoon (kid dragoon ver.)
WD- 10 wide
RC- MG SG magnacore
BB- Storm grip

is it ok?
i thought it was good against my other blades but i dunno
in a real battle~

its good. though upper attacks are suppose to be heavier.
try it with 10-heavy
that way its upper attack will greatly be increased

but i thought putting a 10 heavy on it will decrease it's endurance because all it's wieght will be focused on the blades tip and it will create more friction with it having a rubber bottom, no?

i have tried it against my other blades and i see no
noticable difference, i think i need to test some more with
someone other than myself XD than i can realy see the

The best you could do is change the SG to HMC and use 10-Heavy as my brother said. The endurnace isn't important on an attack beyblade especially one using a rubber tip and in order for upper to work the blade using it needs to be heavier than the opponent's blade. That is why 10-Heavy is used as opposed to a 10-Wide. BTW, 10-Balance is barely used in any combos besides 10bBistool.

Dont use a balance WD on your combo. Stick with heavy or wide.

And make sure to record the battles for bey points!

Make sure to stock up on Storm Grip bases though, it wears off real fast, after which it'll barely move around. If that's a problem, you're better off going with Gaia Dragoon V's Metal Flat base which is still low, besides having a higher spin rate, helpful for upper.
