What should I buy? - Devoured Death - Dec. 12, 2008
So Christmas is just around the corner and I'm not sure what to get.I'm stuck between a new Guitar or a Playstation 3 with a mic and Resistance 2. I already have a guitar but I also have another video game console which is the 360 and it's garbage 33% failure rate but lets not get into that.I'd like to know your opinions.

Well I'd get the PS3 but that's just me. Plus we don't know much about the guitar at the moment....

do not get a ps3. i hear resistance 2 is one of the worst games ever. mgs4 was terrible; LBP is too hard. get a real mans system: xbox 360!!!!!! why????

2. avatars: way better than sony's lame carp HOME LMAO !!!
3. blu-ray isn't as good as netflix movie service
in all, the ps3 is a worthless system and doesn't even stand up to the 360. don't let any xbox 360 haters tell you otherwise!!!!!!!

It's a Schecter Hellraiser. I only play my 360 for Gears and that games overrated but that's just my opinion also PS3 has free online play :p

2.Home has better graphics,an environment and better customization.
3.Blu-ray is the future :p
Resistance is amazing 8 player campaign and 60 players online and no offense but you sound like a fanboy.

and I dunno much about gaming cause i'm not that big a gamer, I have a PS3 (wanted xbox 360 But my dad was paying so I didn't complain when he came home with a PS3) and Iv'e not really had any problems with it (yet, only had like 2 weeks). But I only have like 2 games
COD 5 & GTV4, Play COD 5 a lot more and its alright online. But yeh Can't really comment on the Xbox cause I haven't played it. But most people will sa Xbox 360 is much better. But it's gonna be your Christmas Present so it's really all up to you lol.

Yeah the Hellraiser I'm getting doesn't have the Floyd Rose because my Jackson already has one so I don't need another. Well I'm sick of the RROD it's so annoying and paying for online play is annoying as well lol.I'll probably end up selling my 360 and buy a PS3 in the future maybe.

I hate XBox 360, but that's a bias--I totally think it's better than PS3 at this point. Maybe in the future, PS3 will pull through and get some good games, but until then, XBox is better.
So get that if you're trying to decide between the two.

Lol I already have a 360 for the people that keep telling me to get a 360 over a PS3. I just got home with my new Hellraiser and it feels amazing thanks everyone for your opinions,though.

Yeah trust me a new guitar is a much better investment than a Playstation 3, no matter the situation.
In the long run you'll benefit a lot more from the guitar than a video game console anyway.
