Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - TheUnkownGod - Dec. 05, 2008 Is it just me, or is everyone else's Sea Drake really loose, and the ball and plastic piece holding it in falls out when turned upside down. I can't even use left spin usually because it will completely explode, and then I need to look for the little metal ball that is smaller than an airsoft bb because it flew to who knows where in my carpet. Is the Takara version better? I know there are blades with looser fittings, but even still...what carp. Actually, I have a Sea Drake MS and its totally fine in its durability and stability, I believe the one you have has problems... I've never heard of this RC breaking before. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - Bey Brad - Dec. 05, 2008 All of mine are perfect. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - TheUnkownGod - Dec. 06, 2008 Man, mine is 3 years old. It might be just that I've used it so many times. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - Pich - Dec. 06, 2008 Mine's never done that either, but mines new, too, soooo... ya. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - BeyUK-Espio - Dec. 06, 2008 Mine are OK but I never really used it because it had no use really. I have had mine for about 2 - 3 years. It is also Hasbro. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - Bluezee - Dec. 07, 2008 Mine has had the same problem like yours..it seems to be a manufacturing issue in some of them because even my attack ring screws strip during battles and the metal flies off..i had mine for 3-4 years now RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - TheUnkownGod - Dec. 07, 2008 (Dec. 07, 2008 12:14 AM)Bluezee Wrote: Mine has had the same problem like yours..it seems to be a manufacturing issue in some of them because even my attack ring screws strip during battles and the metal flies off..i had mine for 3-4 years now That's exactly what happens with mine. The entire beyblade just falls apart, especially if it's in left spin. Looks like I might need a new one...if or just a different one with better parts. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - Synesthesia - Dec. 07, 2008 All mine work perfectly, and I have more than 8. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - TheUnkownGod - Dec. 08, 2008 (Dec. 07, 2008 9:11 AM)Synesthesia Wrote: All mine work perfectly, and I have more than 8. Are any of them 3 or 4 years old? Well they have to be since they hadn't made any since. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - The Shredder - Dec. 08, 2008 hmm.. thats wierd, must just be n odd blade from the production line, it happened with me too with some plastic blades, my trypio PF and Draciel G are loose fitting as well, a way to avoid the blade from exploding is doing a thing that my friend nd i like to call a "momentum launch", it is harder to do with hms but the idea is that u feel the weight of the blade through ur ripchord as u pull it, rather than just ripping the chord as hard or fast as u can. This way ur blade shouldn't fly apart in LS. It takes alot of practice and the reason why its so hard with hms is because the ripchord is so thick and stiff it doesnt pickup the tension from the weight of the blade spinning, thats just the simple explanation of it RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - TheUnkownGod - Dec. 09, 2008 (Dec. 08, 2008 2:11 AM)G Wrote:(Dec. 08, 2008 1:53 AM)TheUnkownGod Wrote:(Dec. 07, 2008 9:11 AM)Synesthesia Wrote: All mine work perfectly, and I have more than 8. I'm talking about out of the box and been used consistantly over that time. Obviously they don't make them anymore. Well that shouldn't have been a complaint then if you were using any part over and over again for 3/4 years straight. All my other 3-4 year blades are fine, and I use them more, so I'm sure that I'm justified. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - Bey Brad - Dec. 11, 2008 It's really not justified. Some Beyblades break, some don't. This is the sort of risk you accept when you shoot objects spinning 6000 RPM at each other. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - Bey Brad - Dec. 11, 2008 You said it falls out. I'd call that broken. RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - TheUnkownGod - Dec. 11, 2008 (Dec. 11, 2008 7:15 AM)Bey Brad Wrote: You said it falls out. I'd call that broken. The piece that holds in the ball can come out easily, but when the blade is put together, it is fine. It's been loose forever, but I just mentioned it now because I thought of it. I might have even been loose when I first got it. The main thing though is that it shouldn't burst apart just because that falls out. It's almost to hard to explain in words, I'd have to show you how it holds together. The AR holds fine on other blades, but the RC is just looser when attatching AR's. I don't know maybe it is broken lol >.< RE: Hasbro Sea Drake HMS - BeyUK-Espio - Dec. 11, 2008 If it falls out it is broken. If you were to battle with it you would loose as the tip comes out, period. It is also against ruling to use a broken Beyblade in a match regardless of what term of "broken" it is. |
