This is a "deflector" combo. It is most usefull against agressive attack types. The friction generated from the rubber sharp tip deflects the oponent upon impact, often knocking it out of the beystadium. This combo is best for use in small stadiums, such as the tornado ballance type S.
Attack Ring: mirrage godess
Weight Disk: wide defense
spin gear: mg right, heavy metal core
base: defense grip base

This combination can be used effectively against really heavy attackers and can also be used in case you have no choice other than to accept chance as your strategy.
I keep a combination like this in my set. It doesn't have widespread use, but it's worthy of having in your toolbox.
