I think the bug of the last page not showing up might have come back, but otherwise things seem good.

What did this update do anyways?
We were actually not capable of completing the update, apparently, but another attempt will be made later. It's just a software update - on forums, keeping your software updated is the best way to avoid exploits, bugs, etc.

That bug was already there, albeit for much smaller durations, over the past month or so.

Something completely identical has occurred to me a number of times in the past month, albeit nowhere near as often as it was when it got really bad. Maybe it's something else, but I've seen the same symptoms, anyway.

Not much I can say, to be honest, other than it is identical to the bug where the most recent page doesn't show and you are redirected to the first page, and again it seems either more common on, or limited to, the larger threads.

Hm. Does it require the same "fix"(ie: quoting a post in order to see recent posts), or does re-visiting the page fix it? If it is the latter, I had that happen once earlier today during the restoration.

I haven't actually checked the quoting thing (slipped my mind), but I can say I obtained the pid from the "last post" link in the thread list, and used that to edit one of my posts when I realised after-the-fact I'd made an error.
When it happened to me yesterday, my time (i.e. well before the upgrade occurred), reloading, as well as revisiting the page didn't make it show.
It's not a common occurrence by any means, it's only happened a few times over the past month or two.

I have not noticed anything, outside of the initial stuff. In all of my browsing since then, I've not seen any errors or anything that stood out as hinky.

*sigh* you look at the first comments of this thread when the WBO was fresh. Now, the WBO is so dang big and supperior! *sniffle* websites, they grow so fast! Anyway! i'm having trouble with the search function! every time i type in the specific name of the thread it says, "no matches found" or something like that! a little help please?

What are you searching ... There is basic logic involved in searches ... You will get more results if you search "ban" than if you search "banning", that is obvious ...

Well, if you typed in exactly "Banning Basalt" it probably wouldn't work. The thread is called "Should we Ban Basalt". So the phrase typed in aren't keywords of the title.

Search
In the upper left hand corner type in "ban basalt"
Below where you just typed are two radio buttons, make sure the black dot is in the lower button: search titles only
Then press search at the bottom of the page

Most of the times The links for the 'last post' in 'Latest Threads'(highlighted in the pic in Spoiler) do not work for me. Whenever I click on last post, it just takes me to the top. Thats the only problem I found. Otherwise the thread and the username's links work well.
