In your terms, it is "evidence". The passport face on your profile is your virtual passport to free tournaments for a year, entry into cool giveaways and face contests, and other passport holder events.

RE: Questions about the WBO - blader9222 - Dec. 07, 2011

i cant go to any OP for tournaments. idk why it says:

RE: Questions about the WBO - Primal - Dec. 07, 2011

You're probably trying to view Event Proposals, which is only able to be seen by the thread starter and the Committee.

Okidoki! thanks!

Is the rule for double posting that you can't do post twice in a 48 hour time span? That's what I always thought it was, but if it's just for bumping a selling/trading/buying thread, I apologize.

If it is the rule, then why was WolborgMS warned for it? He posted twice with a difference of more than 48 hours.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Kai-V - Dec. 08, 2011

"Bumping" is allowed only in the Bey Marketplace forum, and only with delays of more than forty-eight hours.

If you want to "bump" or double post in a topic, it has to be very, very important and useful information, otherwise wait until someone else posts after your previous message, or edit that previous post.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Byerg - Dec. 09, 2011

Since I am looking for somebody to make me an intro, where would I go to ask for one or state that I'm looking for one?

RE: Questions about the WBO - Raigeko13 - Dec. 09, 2011

IIRC, there are a few intro makers in the Your Creations forum, with shops up. Search there.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Rustled Jimmies - Dec. 10, 2011

Question, is it against the rules to have HIGHLY gramatically incorrect posts? Like a HUGE lack of punctuation marks that makes the post so hard to understand?

I mean, if you're a kid, I'd understand, but if you're at least some sort of teen, be it young teen or fifteen or whatever, you should already know how to make decent sentences...at least enough to separate complete thoughts.

I wish that a rule like this could be made, but I don't think it can. It'd be like punishing people for having a low IQ, in a way.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Rustled Jimmies - Dec. 10, 2011

Because I find it inconvenient when I can't understand the post at all. Where the sentence ends and begins, when the next though begins, whether there is a list of things or something described by other things that look like pro/nouns, etc.

It honestly makes it hard to respond, and harder not to rage.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Hazel - Dec. 10, 2011

On rare occasion it is enough that we will ask someone to speak better, but I do not really think it is "Company Policy" to seriously reprimand over it, given the demographic.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Humble Blader - Dec. 10, 2011

So I was reading through your FAQ and Help articles but I'm still dumbfounded. What exactly is a blader passport?

RE: Questions about the WBO - Whatzzer - Dec. 10, 2011

Something that allows you to enter tournaments for free, giveaways and contests limited to Passport Holders only.

I understand what you mean by the demographic, but despite that, I've seen kids type properly here. Granted, kids be kids, but their posts were/are legible and quick to grab an understanding of. And kids are blunt, straight to the point. AKA, one to two-line posts.

But when you you type an entire paragraph with lack of punctuation marks that looks like one giant run-on sentence (even though it's actually probably four or five sentences), that's where I feel is the problem. The person gets the idea of what to write, goes on a long lengthy shpiel, but it's so illegible with all the missing punctuations and shortened spellings like "im" and "ur" that trying to figure it out is like trying to solve a puzzle cube.

And let's be honest, Hazel. You and I have posted in the same thread (about a specific series) where this is the case. So what I'm asking is, on that "rare occasion", what is your idea of this that leads to asking some to "speak better"? The manner I'm talking about or something else entirely?

RE: Questions about the WBO - Hazel - Dec. 10, 2011

We typically only do it if people absolutely cannot understand the person.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Janstarblast - Dec. 10, 2011

To add, this is a WorldWide online community, and unsurprisingly, has members from all over the world. You may not expect everyone to be good at English. Encouraging them to use Google Translate is a good way too, but Google Translate itself, is famous for illegible translations...
So, warnings are not necessary. Moderator Notices, requesting them to improve their post quality are the only options...
But, if its discovered that a person purposely posts in a grammatically incorrect speech, then he/she is liable to be warned. Such cases have surfaced in the past, when Social Networking Site Addicts got over here, and depended largely on short forms. They may be asked to improve, but if they keep up their ignorance for Moderator Notices and all, warning is the key.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Arupaeo - Dec. 10, 2011

Personally I think we all need to be more accepting of each other's differences. That includes differences in a blader's first language, education level and age.

Some people write very eloquently, and I can enjoy their posts, but some less well constructed writing can also contain valuable information.

No one on this site will be warned by me for posting on topic to the best of their abilities.

RE: Questions about the WBO - AllGenBlader - Dec. 11, 2011

I agree with all of you who say wanning some one you can't understande is bad, IT'S BULLYING TO GIVE WARNINGS SOME ONE YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND because people could have a bad ED. because there parents are homeless or they could come from some where else and have poor ED.
also a friend gave me a bladers passport but the site says I haven't got one yet so what do I do to buy faces now

RE: Questions about the WBO - Hazel - Dec. 11, 2011

Just donate $10 via the passport tool again and cancel the subscription it sets up for you, and tell Kai-V you want a Face Booster.

There is no "buying" of faces. Those who donate to the WBO are recognized for their gift by receiving a face booster in thanks.

RE: Questions about the WBO - V-Rock - Dec. 11, 2011

Who should I contact if I want to set up a tournament?
And if it is an unofficial tournament, can I post a thread on it?

RE: Questions about the WBO - Mickey - Dec. 11, 2011

You don't need to contact anyone. You have to post a proposal by going to the official events section, then go in the event proposals sub forum and make a thread. If you want to make an unofficial tournament, go to the WBO general section and make a thread; make sure you include your city like this [Toronto, Canada] (Title here)

RE: Questions about the WBO - Ga' - Dec. 11, 2011

Erm, looking at bigbangbars' face collection, he has 2 Rose Golds. Is that because 2 mods gave it to him? I didn't realize you could do that.

RE: Questions about the WBO - Arupaeo - Dec. 11, 2011

It happens sometimes, and I fixed it. Thanks!
